What a charming place to stay in London! The house was wonderful and perfect in size for our group of five. Our two teens loved hanging out in the red couch room downstairs. Each of the three bedrooms had its own attached full bathroom. The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything we needed. There are a lot of stairs, but we found it quite manageable. Nick was responsive when we had a few questions before our arrival. And the location cannot be beat! There are multiple tube stops within walking distance. We were also able to easily walk to Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and Buckingham Palace. We found plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby and groceries for the house at a nearby Tesco Express. Don’t hesitate, just book it now!

Very clean and decorated beautifully. This apartment is in a fantastic location for touring London and going to shows. The alleyway is adorable and a perfect photo spot. In the house, there are lots of narrow, winding stairs and you can hear people outside talking. Several tours walked by the home as Goodwin Ct had been featured in movies and was an inspiration for Harry Potter movies. A beautiful and unique stay, I 100% recommend!

It was a great place. Three separate bedrooms (a double, a queen and a king). The cute tv room in the basement off the kitchen offers another hide a bed and/or just a couch, for another sleeping area (nice teen hang out). Everything was great - central to the Underground and London attractions. Just be cautious about what they say is available (they said there was laundry soap but there wasn’t). We easily bought some at the Tesco nearby - but doesn’t hurt to bring what you need. Would stay here again!

The location was unexpectedly magical…wink wink. The process leading up to arrival, working with Nick on pre arrival and the white glove arrival meet up was beyond helpful. Katya walked us through the house and gave us some great tips for restaurants and travel in the area. The flat has a prime location and puts you within walking distance to all the major attractions and tube stations. One thing to note, for future renters, this is a unique one in a million London property, well kept and containing everything you need…but you have to be able to manage several flights of stairs…they add to the overall charm! Location, Location, Location - very central and close to everything except for the football game. We enjoyed the tube and bus connections. The VRBO was clean and equipped to handle our (3 couples) needs. A lot of stairs. If it were not for the stairs it would have rated 5 stars plus

This was a great option for our family. A quaint 3 room apartment with a seating area on the mainfloor and a dining room and kitchen in the basement. The only negatives: additional linens were not provided as requested and the small flying insects that were present.

Great location

I’m so glad we chose this place. The location was great. So convenient to everything and multiple train station options for things farther away. There was restaurants shops and grocery within a 1 min walk. The house itself is very charming and had plenty of room for all of us. We were a family of four (my husband and 2 sons 18 and 25).The kitchen was well equipped and the rooms were all comfortable. Nick was very helpful whenever anything was needed and responded promptly. The alley the house was on was really cute. I would recommend this place to anyone I know. And would definitely stay there again.

Great Location! Incredible Stay!

Stayed here for a family vacation. The central location cannot be beat! Close to landmarks, the tube(s), shopping, grocery, and dining, this property had it all right outside the door. Kitchen was well appointed for our needs. The terrace was perfect for afternoon cocktails - for six adults! Management was incredibly helpful with any questions. Be prepared for stairs! Highly recommend.

Perfect Location

As others have mentioned, there are a lot of stairs which were only an issue when trying to get luggage in and out. The location was amazing. In the middle of all the hustle and bustle yet still secluded down an old alley that was gorgeous. The inside was like going back in time; so many details and art on the wall gave it the true London experience! Beds were all comfy and having en suite bathrooms attached to all rooms made getting ready as a group easier. We mostly hung out in the main room which was plenty spacious for the four of us. Only got to enjoy the peaceful roof deck area one afternoon but even that felt as magical as the rest of the house. We were able to check in a bit early which was nice after flying overnight from the states. Everyone was super nice from the time of booking to arrival. Highly recommend this home!!

Amazing Central London Flat

This flat was beyond amazing. We were a group of 5 and had plenty of space to enjoy a rainy day in. The location was outstanding, the flat was clean and well stocked and communication was amazing.

Great location. Small rooms.

The apartment is in the alley that they say inspired Knock Turn Alley. We thought that was pretty cool and the location cannot be beat. It was pretty noisy though with a lot of tour groups going through the alley. And the rooms are very small. There were just two of us staying and each had their own room and bathroom but it still felt very tight. We are Americans. The stairs were killer too. We never enjoyed the balcony because it was too much to go down and get a coffee or something (kitchen in the basement) and then walk up 5 floors to the balcony. I probably wouldn’t stay again just because of the smallness, but the location is perfect.

Fantastic.

We were a party of 6 adults. Location was great. Our check-in was easy and Hugo was wonderful, helpful and timely. Beds were comfortable. Only issue was learning how to use the dryer. Would suggest instructions be available in the laundry room. Would definitely stay again and encourage others to do so. The stairs could be a challenge for some.

Incredible!

The host, his staff and this property are something you could only dream of. We felt we were living in the middle of a Dickens novel, Mary Poppins and Harry Potter. My wife and I have been to London often but this was the first time with our family. It turned out that my children and grandchildren occupied the property and we stayed at a Five Star Hotel 60 seconds away. I cannot say enough good things about the location. There has to be 500 hundred restaurants within 5 minutes walking. We tried to eat at as many as we could. Still 450 left to go. We saw 4 plays and walked to every theatre within 5 minutes. As long as you do not mind stairs there is not another property in London like this. If you are looking for a memory to last forever, this is the place for you. Thank you to Nick and his team for making such an incredible place available for our family.

Wonderful Covent Garden House!

We just spent a week at this wonderful Covent Garden home and had an amazing time! Nick was easy to communicate with and responsive to questions; he was also very accommodating - let us check in early (for a modest fee) - very helpful after flying overnight. Our group of 5 loved the house’s layout and everyone had plenty of space. All 3 bedrooms have their own en suite bath, plus plenty of storage for clothes. And it was great having 1/2 bath plus washer/dryer on main level. There are a lot of stairs - not an issue for us - but something to be aware of. The lower level kitchen, dining, and additional seating area are really cute - we didn’t do any cooking so spent minimal time down there, but it had everything we needed. We loved the rooftop patio and a glass of wine up there most nights. The location of the property can’t be beat - we were within walking distance of so many great attractions, and easy access to multiple tube stations to get us everywhere else. And there are great pubs and restaurants right out the door. There are tour groups that come down the alley way (it has a very Harry Potter vibe!), and a couple of times people thought it was fun to use the door knocker - presumably to capture a photo op - but that was a minor issue, and more amusing than anything. Pictures were accurate - really lovely place with great decor. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again!
