Apartamento superior en una casa unifamiliar georgiana en el centro sur de Londres

El acceso al apartamento superior es a través de un pasillo y una escalera comunales en nuestra casa llamada Griffin House: el piso cubre todo el piso superior de la propiedad y está totalmente separado por una pared y una puerta en la parte superior de las escaleras.

Este apartamento de 65 metros cuadrados (700 pies cuadrados) tiene una cocina / comedor / sala de estar de tamaño generoso y dos habitaciones de buen tamaño, una que se puede configurar con dos camas individuales o una doble superking del Reino Unido y otra con un rey del Reino Unido cama matrimonial. También hay un sofá cama en el salón.

La cocina / comedor / sala de estar totalmente equipada cuenta con televisión, DVD, equipo de música, lavavajillas, nevera, microondas / horno convencional, estufa, plancha, tabla de planchar, caja fuerte, cafetera espresso y cafetera (prensa francesa).

El piso tiene una banda ancha de fibra óptica inalámbrica súper rápida y gratuita, y viene equipado con una tabla de planchar y plancha, secador de pelo y caja fuerte.

El baño amplio y luminoso cuenta con dos lavabos Belfast, además de una potente ducha / baño profundo.

Overall a great stay - flat is slightly older so not the newest accommodations. A 10 minute walk from nearest tube stations but overall a very solid choice for the price, which was very reasonable. Hosts were very helpful and responsive.

Pros - friendly property owners; ample space; convenience store across the street; on bus routes; good people watching; restaurants nearbyCons - it was a little further out of the way from major attractions than expected - about 45 mins for us because we were unfamiliar with the transit system; lots of stairs to go up and down - more than expected. All in all, quite a good place to stay.

Great flat in Brixton

We had a lovely stay in this rental. The location was great and the host was very accomodating. It's a great place for those who want to stay in a neighborhood setting while still being a short tube ride to central London. I highly recommend!

Fantastic Holiday

We really enjoyed our stay and are hoping to visit again! The flat had everything we needed and the location offered easy access to the tube and bus lines. The hosts were ultra accommodating and made us feel welcome. We had an excellent time!

Spacious and well located

Great place, we enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed using the kitchen and living space and the beds were clean and comfortable. The main bedroom overlooks a stunning garden. The accommodation is a short walk to the Tube and the hosts are friendly and helpful.

Alles, was wir uns vorgestellt hatten, wurde noch übertroffen. Wir haben uns vom ersten Augenblick an wohl gefühlt durch den freundlichen Empfang durch Nic und die beiden Hunde. Den wunderschönen Garten haben wir leider nicht genutzt, weil wir den ganzen Tag unterwegs waren, aber wir können uns gut vorstellen, dass man in dieser grünen Oase mitten in der Stadt wunderbar relaxen kann. Es gibt in der Nähe sehr gute, nicht zu teure Restaurants, und der Supermarkt gleich gegenüber war sehr praktisch für uns.Wenn wir nochmal nach London reisen, nehmen wir auf jeden Fall wieder diese Wohnung. Danke an Nic und Ben!

Perfect location

Fab location for a really enjoyable family trip to london. Hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful including Bruno the dog) and the space was ideal for chilling out in the evenings after a busy day. Highly recommended.

Great location, great suite, great hosts.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Ben and Nico were communicative, so we knew just what to expect on arrival. The suite was just as advertised. East access to the tube, and a short walk to cafes, pubs, etc. We’d definitely stay here again.

London short break

Lovely character property well situated for easy tube and bus links to central London with everything we needed. Friendly welcoming hosts (especially Bruno the dog)! Gave us tips on getting around and where to visit locally. Would recommend to anyone and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Jumping off point for exploring London

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment---it was comfortable for our family of five (two adults and three teens), is located close to the tube for easy travel, and was within easy walking distance of shopping areas and parks. The owners of the property were available and friendly. The garden is an absolute oasis! Highly recommend.

Great value and location!

The flat was exactly what our family needed for our short break in London. Great location close to the tube and well connected bus lines. Our hosts, Ben and Nico, were super helpful with recommendations of places to eat and with providing fans for our rooms during the heatwave (and their dog was an added bonus for our kids!). The rooms were comfortable and very clean. We will definitely stay there again the next time we are in London!

Live like a local

Ok, you have to keep in mind the property is over 200 years old. Would recommend for the more adventurous traveler. Everything worked and was functional in the house. You have the whole private top floor which is cool. Good location close to all public transportation and have a grocery across the street. This is in a busy area of London so a lot of road sounds and the building next door was being renovated at the time with a bit of truck and construction noise. My wife would have preferred more of an upscale place but I liked the London feel.

Great experience in a local neighborhood

The apartment is very roomy and had everything we needed for a family of 4. We liked having the experience of being in a neighborhood vs a tourist area. You do walk through the owner's part of the house to access the apartment, but the owners are very friendly and it wasn't an issue. We felt safe in the neighborhood.
