This historic home is beautiful and with 6 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and 20 rooms in total there is plenty of room to spread out.

Great vintage farmhouse... much of the place had older furniture, items that gave you a feel that you stepped back in time. Reminded me of grandparents farm house. There are older picture and photo albums that give a feel your in a museum. We will visit again... but bring more people to fill up the house.

We didn’t want to leave! This house was perfect for us and our extended family. There was something for everyone: quiet nooks for reading and bird watching, board games galore and a fun play room to hang out in, giant TV to watch the World Cup, cute farm house kitchen to cook and gab in, photo albums and scrapbooks to explore the history of the house and area, a foot path to follow to find wildflowers, comfy bedrooms for napping. The only reason we didn’t use the fire pit or saloon was lack of time, since we were there for a family reunion in the next town over. We hope to return for the next reunion.

Planning to be back again!

We had the best time! We came for a little weekend getaway with the whole family and agreed that we'd all love to be back for a longer time. The House was everything we were looking for and absolutely lovely. It was the perfect fit all around.

Historic Home

This was a beautiful historical home in a gorgeous setting of lush green rolling hills. It was very clean and well furnished with everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Great property!

This location was wonderful for our mini family reunion. It was fun exploring all the rooms in the house. The outdoor saloon and fire pit were great places to hang out in the evenings.

We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway! It was a beautiful spot, with rolling hills, corn fields, peaceful and quiet. The house was spacious, we all had nice bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen and wonderful outdoor areas. We were pretty close to everything we wanted to do, attend a play at the American Performance Theatre and take a tour at Taliesin. We were also close to Spring Green and Mineral Point was not too far away, both small towns have nice restaurants, and shops!

Great house—over 150 years old and full of unique character. Stand alone pole barn set up like a western saloon—we loved this addition. Great house for relaxation—great for group get together. Highly recommend it.

Great place for a much needed reset!

Four gals taking a weekend getaway found some peace and lots of laughter at this historic home. We loved exploring the home and all of the relics within it. The shed, the firepit and walking trail were lovely additions. We even saw a fox that lives nearby! Would definitely stay again.
