“The best dog friendly rental we have stayed in so far. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, nicely updated and the rustic decor charming. Scaly mountain is between Highlands NC and Dillard Ga, so close enough either way to enjoy shopping and restaurants but rural enough to feel like you live in the country. Lots of dog friendly hiking trails nearby. Loved the front porch with its swing and cool evenings, and the fire pit. Definitely recommend.”

“Wonderful, peaceful and welcoming home. Reese Retreat is as soothing as a visit to grandma's. The lake is very relaxing and quiet. The road is a bit winding and long so you will want to hit the grocery store first. We had a very nice stay.”

“Very Clean. Very comfortable. Property was in excellent condition. Felt new. Perfect size for a couple or small family. Remote. All appliances like new if not new. Utilities were excellent. Driveway is steep and may be intimidating to most. Parking area at house is good. We parked at house every night. ”

“It was a wonderful little cabin, we enjoyed our stay very much. Management neglected to update the listing title as the dock no longer exists. There is access to the river but no dock. We loved the location and the peace of the river.”

“This town home is amazing. It is even better than it looks in pictures. The host was so gracious and accommodating. The home allows for everyone to hang out as a family, but allows for groups to congregate in many different area of the house. We didn’t get to check out all of the amenities, but what a saw looked amazing. We will definitely stay again. It’s perfect for Clemson families. Gets you out of the chaos, but not too far out of town. ”

And all that could be seen sitting in the couch! The kitchen was equipped with literally everything I would use at my home and then some!
