Enjoyed a good meal at the restaurant on site, then spent the rest of the evening relaxing and reading in the common area. Enjoyed the lodge atmosphere and complimentary coffee in the morning.

The room was classic Adirondack and very comfortable. The restaurant food was plentiful and excellent. The owners are top notch customer service providers. I highly recommend and I am not one who ever bothers to do these surveys but just felt compelled because of how wonderful this stay was. Support this small business!!

It's a historic propery- about 130 years old. But it's in very good shape. The place has character, but with nice attention to detail. The restaurant/bar is great. The fried cod and chicken meatloaf entrees were delicious, but I didn't like the string beans (undercooked). The room was cozy, clean and quiet (we had one facing the lake and not the street).

Love staying here. Rooms are very clean, restaurant has excellent food and bar. Only thing is they really need someone at the desk to check in. I know they are busy but maybe get someone in there to manage it all the time.

We had an excellent stay. The view of the lake from the porch in the morning with complimentary coffee was an excellent way to begin each day. The restaurant was delicious food. Compliments to the chefs. Then we spent the evening playing the shuffle board game. The only downside was the room did not have AC. The fans were okay but we like a cold room. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was quiet and relaxing.

Positioned at the base of Long Lake this period lodge offers upstairs simple double bed rooms with fàsn, clean linens and hot water showers. Just enough to refresh from long days of summer or winter outdoor activities. A large porch for viewing lake. A well stocked bar & a separately billed steak & simple fare restaurant. Lots of sesting Game rooms for family & friends. Helpful wait staff. But no other lodge assistance. Welcomes families.Off road parking.

We stayed in one of the small cabins. The cabin was just as described on the website and in the photos. The bed was comfortable. The porch on the front of Cabin was nice. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the lake. We ate both nights at the restaurant. The food was the best we have had in a long time, with very fresh ingredients and all the staff were friendly. They went above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The service was exceptional with several extra nice touches We will be back .

It was like staying in an old fashioned Adirondack great camp. We love it here every year. The people are friendly and the drinks and food at the bar are amazing.

We stayed here for 4 nights and found it to be a great place to stay! Very comfortable, excellent food and delicious wine. Pretty view of Long Lake and very convenient to the Blue Mountaon Lake museum. I would definitely stay here again.

Set in an unpretentious outdoor paradise

It is a beautiful historical inn / lodge great location for exploring the Adirondacks in a very laid back unpretentious environment.
