“Delightful accommodation in a beautiful village pub. As a family of three, we stayed in the Superior Suite, Room 4. Our window view was a charming old church. Room/linen was spotless, towels were hotel quality, powerful shower, comfy beds, amazing cooked breakfast and kind hosts. No pub noise and we stayed on a Fri and Sat night. It's very quiet. Safe car parking right outside too. Dog friendly. Great location if visiting Cotswolds/Diddly Squat and The Farmer's Dog. Wish we could have stayed...

“Room was dirty, scuffed paintwork, stained carpet, skirting boards thick with grime and dust, cobwebs and dead bugs (in the cobwebs) on the ceiling. Not to mention the previous guests dirty towels and sheets were left in a heap in the middle of the floor. At £200 per night excluding breakfast I expect much much better. Very disappointing.”

“The property is almost on Silverstone racetrack and the rack was busy the whole time. Lots of small, very fast, racecars plus other tricked out cars watched from the roof deck or the restuarant. The accommodation is spacious, interesting and comfortable, there are sculptures scattered through the grounds and each "room" has a deck or balcony with views of interesting landscaping or for more money fantastic views of the track. The staff were friendly and efficient and the food was very nice,...

“Prachtige locatie en uniek eeuwenoud pand. Het ontbijt was ook erg lekker en echt Engels. Helaas was het personeel bij de receptie slordig en weinig behulpzaam bij vragen. Heel teleurstellend ook dat toen ik een geliefde jas per ongeluk heb laten hangen bij vertrek, niemand me kon helpen. Telefonisch en per mail weinig respons gekregen en niemand van de schoonmaak had blijkbaar de jas gevonden. Balen en een slechte reclame. Verder een schitterend hotel maar verlies er geen spullen....”

“The room itself was spacious and clean. The pub was great loads of drink selection and the staff were all friendly and super helpful. Our only negative was weather related. The fan in the room didn't help with the heat at all. We had to keep the window open to try and cool the room. On the Saturday it was fine, however on the Friday the noise went on until around 1am from the pub garden. If it wasn't so abnormally hot we could have closed the window and there would have been no bother. We...
