QUIET, Year round Cozy Cabin on a great fishing lake

  • Cozy year round, 2 bedroom Cabin on quite Maple Lake (388 acres). The cabin is located in the heart of Amish Country, just east of Osakis MN. Enjoy the quiet life with Amish buggies traveling past the cabin or enjoy the year round fishing. Catch walleyes, northern pikes, sunnies and crappies from the dock or bring your boat and tie up to the dock (or park your boat in the yard.) In the evening grill on the deck (propane grill) and enjoy the sun sets from the deck. Then move to the fire pit and enjoy a bon fire over looking the lake. In the morning take out the two kayaks and the paddle board and enjoy the calm waters and nature of Maple Lake.

    Don't have your own hunting land? There are 800 acres of public hunting land within 5 minutes of the cabin.

    2 minutes to groomed snowmobile trails.

    Need a fishing boat or pontoon boat?? We can put you in contact with a local boat rental company that will deliver and pick up the boat for free along with a prom code for a discount.

Very nice!

We stayed for a long weekend and it was the perfect little spot to get away to. We caught some fish off of the public docks around the area and had a nice time relaxing in the evening at the clean and comfy cabin!

Quiet spot near the end of the paved road. Perfect for sitting outside and watching the loons that stayed on this end of the lake. Owner verified that we checked in okay and was eager to give us fishing tips.

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin and will probably return again next year. The weather was fantastic, and fishing was good. Our hosts were great and checked in with us before, during and after our stay.

Great weekend!

Neat and clean little lake cabin. This was a great getaway to start our summer with some fishing and relaxing in the sun. The lake was super clear and clean with ducks, loons, geese, deer, and turkeys all making their presence known. Definitely would stay again!

Excellent fishing lake

Cabin is very nice, clean, and close to the water. We caught northern pike, walleye, crappie, and bluegills right off the dock! Excellent sunsets over the lake as well!

Fabulous lakefront cabin

We could have stayed all summer! Such a comfy cabin & beautiful lakefront view - so enjoyed the lions, pelicans, hummingbirds, etc. Wonderful place to kick back & relax - by a bonfire, on the deck, on the dock, or inside. It was clean and had everything you needed for a super getaway.

Family get way

It was a nice cozy cabin. Enjoyed the view of the lake. The big downfall was it was a very hot and humid weekend and there is no A.C. in the cabin so we left a day early.

Cozy Cabin in Amish Country

This was one of my family’s favorite places to stay where we could get out of the city (Omaha, NE) and relax and unwind. The Amish horse and carriages that went by every day all day was a delightful view as well as the scenic view of the lake and watching the sun set and rise! Super quiet place which allowed for uninterrupted relaxation! Would definitely stay here again!
