We spent two weeks at this beautifully remodeled unit and, for the most part, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Visually stunning, in an unbeatable location, with high-end finishes throughout the main living areas, kitchen, and 2.5 baths. The master bedroom was beautifully decorated and comfortable, but the second bedroom fell short. Built-in bunk beds are a thoughtful touch; however, the second bed, only a double size, w/o a headboard, was unsuitable for an adult couple (the room can accommodate a queen). The dresser was stained and worn, no décor, and the wall-mounted TV had a cord hanging near the bunks—easily fixed/rerouting. The closet was unfinished with a stackable washer/dryer plus cleaning supplies and insufficient hanging space; we charged the second couple significantly less. The front door was dirty and heavily scuffed (the complex said the paint is readily available) and the foyer showed wear/ not as in the photos- fingerprints/makeup on a bathroom wall and flecks of dirt/grease on the master BR comforter and floor from a vent. The property manager responded promptly; otherwise, the unit was spotless. We were told beach chairs would be in the garage; none were. We bought our own and donated them to Goodwill. A water-pipe leak caused four days of construction in front of the unit w/ intermittent shutoffs and no running water used our own bottled water. This was outside the owner’s control. If not for these issues, we would have rated the unit exceptional.
