“We had a lovely two night stay at Losehill. Ideally situated if you want to walk up Losehill or Mam Tor and Edale is a 20 minute bus ride away. The bus can be caught from the bottom of the lane. The service from every member of staff we encountered during our stay was outstanding. The food was excellent with amazing views as you eat.”

“The Devonshire arms in baslow was a very quaint and beautifully decorated in for us to stay. It encapsulated the English countryside vibe that we were going for. “Great pub, exceptionally clean, comfortable and modern rooms and super friendly staff. As a bonus, the food is of a very high standard and the Guinness was decent. Can’t fault this place in any way, stopped here to be in the area for the snooker at the Crucible in Sheffield, it was a 20 minute taxi ride from here to Sheffield Town Centre. As Arnie said….. It is a beautiful old building, which has been thoughfully modernised inside.
Our room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom had a good shower, with plenty of hot water. It was also surprisingly quiet, for being in a town, with the occasional call of a pair of tawny owls.
The staff were absolutely great, and very efficiently with their service.
Breakfast was superb, with a menu to suit everyone.
