Hot tub could have been hotter. Also, some of the jets didn’t seem to be working, or, at least it wasn’t clear how to get them to work.Nonetheless, it was enjoyable.

Better than the pictures!

We had a great time at the cottage! So easy to relax. The inside of the cottage was even better than the pictures show. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. My son loved swimming and fishing.

It was Perfect!

The most amazingly perfect place to stay for a much needed get away! The location was great as you are able to easily explore the north shore from this location. The back porch overlooking the creek was perfect in the afternoons. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this home and would highly recommend it!

The place was not cleaned by whomever you hired to clean! We had to wash the coffee cups again since they had coffee stains left from before last use of renters! Lots of spider webs in around the areas inside! Back porch was filthy!

Great stay

The house was amazing. Hot tub was perfect. The fire pit outside was amazing for making smores on the chilly night. We all had an amazing time at this cozy home. Definitely tucked away and was the greatest part to have a peaceful and relaxing weekend for ren fest! Will definitely book again!

Perfect Getaway

My husband and I spent our 20th Wedding Anniversary here. It was a beautiful place. Very clean. Very quiet and secluded. Check-in and Check-out was so easy. We will definitely be going back.

The property was outstanding. Very secluded beautiful setting with the creek and sandy beach right out your back door. The bed was extremely comfortable and the hot tub was just off the master bedroom. We've rented A LOT of properties over the years and this one exceeded expectations above all others.

Just Because

The property was nice and remote. It is very secluded so we were able to unplug and relax. The only problem we had was that the jacuzzi was full of sand and the grill had not been cleaned.

Secluded Bliss

Creek is moving water so hardley any mosquito. Coldest creek in LA perfect for toddlers to play in the shallow water. Lots of small fish for kids to catch. The house has the essential for cooking pots pans etc. Because your 20mins from a McDonalds dont believe google when it says 10 mile. We came to LA to see family in the area. Would come back to this place when we come back to LA.

Just add food...

The house was exactly as described in a very peaceful setting. We enjoyed wonderful views of the creek and occassional wildlife from the back porch. The house included everything we needed for our stay. Especially the kitchen, which is very well outfitted for cooking meals. The booking process was easy and checkin/checkout was a breeze. If future travels bring us back to the area we'd definitely stay here again.

Private time!

Beautiful secluded area! Just what we was looking for get away and alone time to unwind and enjoy each other! Grilled,fished and listened to a lil music on back porch!! Only thing if negative, was hot tub was down and that was one of the amenities we were looking for !! But adjustments to payment reimbursement and we still enjoyed time ! Plan on returning!!!

Beautiful Home

The house is beautiful and has everything you would ever need!!! I have never had such a well stocked home. It is very comfortable and has the at home feel. The location is a little more "off the beaten path" than we thought, but very quiet and peaceful. Our host, Ronnie, was very prompt and helpful.

PERFECT GETAWAY !

We LOVED this property. It was the perfect long weekend getaway for our New Year celebration. We played tourist and visited the Abita Mystery House and Global Wildlife--but spent most of our time 'on property'. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit and even fashioned our own pickleball court on the nice large driveway! Very private and quiet with a nice little beach area by the water. These folks thought of everything! I'd absolutely go back.

Peace and Quiet

Beautiful home situated on Chappapeela Creek. Owls, Great Blue Herons, Wood Ducks as well as many other birds move through this secluded spot at the end of a road. Spent most of our time out on the back porch, or sitting by the creek. Wished we had brought our kayak to explore more. We will be back.

Serenity Now!

I have family in various cities on the north shore so I chose to make a little vacation of it for myself, somewhere peaceful. This home and its location did not disappoint! It is off the beaten path but well worth it. The location is so beautiful and quiet and the home is lovely. Great layout and has everything you could think of. The bed was so comfortable and sheets smell so nice. The cottage was clean and homey. I enjoyed sitting on the back porch with a cocktail and enjoying the sounds of nature and watching the lazy creek roll by. Nice little beach there too! On my last night there I arrived home to be greeted by a pretty little doe in the driveway. The home is very near to the Global Wildlife Center and the area is rolling with beautiful drives toward Folsom. I look forward to returning for another visit in the future.
