Excited to unbearable in seconds. Address listed on property details is not address provided for check in. Drove to property on listing until I noticed they text me a different address. The neighborhood says it was in “prime” Hollywood. It was the ghetto side of east Hollywood. Homeless, dirty, rank, all of the above.Parking didn’t accommodate as space was tiny and not meant for large vehicles. I drove a 12 passenger transit van and spent an hour looking for street parking before deciding to try to park. I spent the next 30 minutes reversing in from the tiny gated entrance, making razor sharp turns often going forwards and backwards like Austin Powers until I made it into my spot. The property itself was patchwork. Looked clean until you looked. Bathroom was painted over to mask the mold that was bubbling over. Hot water took 10 minutes. Furniture dirty. Beds worn and uncomfortable. Doors squeaky and loud. Walls thin. No balcony as shown. 4 levels total. The next morning, we were blocked in by another tenant after being told no tenants could blocked any part of the entryway. Contacting property management to move vehicles is not ideal. That same evening returning, we again dealt with tenants blocking the entryway in which I had to reach out to them directly to move the vehicles. We did not complete our stay after the second night. It was too much work for what was supposed to be a home away from home. Will NEVER return. Stayed in Burbank instead.
