Idyllic Malibu Hideaway
Beautiful secluded property and views of the ocean, old vineyard and canyon. It was so wonderful to come home from the hustle and bustle of Malibu each day to our little oasis. Sitting on the porch with a glass of wine and enjoying the sunset was sublime. Robin was a wonderful, responsive host. We would definitely come back again!

A peaceful slice of Malibu!
We SO enjoyed our stay at Robin’s place. The front porch overlooks the ocean, and the back area has gorgeous views of the mountains. The layout was perfect, with an en-suite on each side of the living area and kitchen. Perfect for two couples, or in our case, a family traveling with kids. Robin was so communicative and gave us suggestions that made our trip truly memorable. Vintage Grocers, just down the hill, had great prepared food options, and the local beaches were absolutely gorgeous. We can’t wait to go back!

One of a Kind Stay in the Hills of Malibu
We had the most amazing few days in one of our favorite places. This is our 4th time staying here and we absolutely love it. The views of the ocean and mountains are amazing early morning and as the sun goes down in the evening. Very quiet and peaceful with trails into the Santa Monica mountains and glorious views of the ocean below. Enjoy Broad beach and the endless views it has. Full kitchen, living room and beautiful bedrooms. We find it hard to leave this beautiful place every time ... until the next time. Thank you so much Robin.

Incredible location and property
Awesome 5 night stay! Enjoyed many easy trips to broad beach and nearby hiking. The cottage is well appointed, clean and offers some of the best ocean and mountain views around. Perfect for two couples or a family of four.

Wonderful Stay
Stayed here with spouse and teenaged children in July. Everyone loved the place immediately and we had a great time in Malibu. This was the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. The views of ocean and mountains are amazing and the place is quiet and peaceful yet so close to everything. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place hidden away yet above it all
This was a lovely property in north Malibu perched back on the hillsides. There is a small vineyard behind with trails. The home is a duplex, yet no one was there save one (two?) night(s). Small local shops are at the end of the road. I had a very peaceful time there. Lastly the homeowners were fantastically responsive and engaged.

Summer Class at Pepperdine
Amazing property! The location has a view of the ocean on one side and canyon/vineyard views on the other. Our only complaint was that due to the conference we missed being there during the day. It was a bit of a commute to Pepperdine, but we loved the location. The beach below offered a perfect spot to walk in the evenings!

Very Relaxing and Quiet.
We had a wonderful time on this property. The view is amazing and the location is away from the hustle and bustle. The kitchen was stocked with the important things so we were able to cook easily. We will come again.

Perfection!
Perfect location, perfect views, perfect everything! We spent our daughter's graduation weekend here. Great location to easily get back and forth to Pepperdine. We had several lovely dinners on the patio looking at the ocean and spent the afternoons taking in the mountain view. Minutes from amazing Zuma beach, groceries, and coffee. Communication was easy and responsive. I hope we get to come back again!

Perfect Spot

Spectacular views
Our cottage was comfortable, clean & had everything we needed for cooking a meal in. The floor to ceiling windows provided sunlight & openness but more importantly the ocean views and waking up to the sunrise was the cherry on top. The host was kind, helpful and very attentive when I reached out. I would recommend this place and would love to come back with my family! Thank you for providing this beautiful space at such a reasonable price.

Difficult 24 hours prior to check in
Fabulous property, low key, highly functional, great views and access to hiking and seaside activities. Good grocery shopping nearby site - great for mobility challenged. BUT - VRBO gave me incorrect number for host and I was wanting at least a 24 hour check in confirmation from him/her. Left multiple messages on wrong number, finally got VRBO help centre and they couldnt raise host on wrong number which was then disconnected. On day of check in (Friday 18th November) with family arriving to meet us and no confirmation of access, I did get a good explanatory/welcome email. I had already scouted other places in the area and was willing to cancel my booking but could not as informed by VRBO until 4pm the time of check in, when they would have "found us accommodation for one night" and then rehoused us....etc. etc. all to say - having organized this reunion and paid in full - 24 hours of anxiety and potential reorganization could have been avoided by VRBO having host contact info correct, and host contacting me with final details 48 hours prior to arrival. (Consider reviewing your policy VRBO and having penalty for hosts) All's well that ends well - we will be back to visit for longer, now we know the ropes and have confidence in the host Robin, who has delivered an excellent location for a meeting place for our family from Canada and our son from LA. Thank you.

Emily’s Wedding in Malibu
There were a few issues pertaining to the Wi-Fi being down but the host worked for 2 days to resolve the problem and offered us a discount for the inconvenience. Everything else was very nice. Beautiful views!!

Amazing!
What a wonderful house! Quaint, quiet, simply lovely. Full kitchen so you can cook. 2 bedrooms and en suite bathrooms so perfect for 2 couples to share. Gorgeous views from both sides of the house - ocean and mountains. We are DEFINITELY comfy back again. :)

Cool Malibu Mountain Retreat
This is a really unique property. Its a small building divided into two rentals on a small vineyard's property on the side of a mountain. Two bedrooms and two baths...and a functional kitchen makes it great for a getaway with beautiful views and quick access to the coast and all that Malibu has to offer.

This is an amazing place to stay. We enjoyed the beautiful views. It was unfortunate that when we were there they had landscapers cutting down trees both days we were there, so we didn't spend as much time at the property as we would have liked. It would have been nice to know this ahead of time.

Malibu Stay
We had a wonderful 4 days in Malibu. Great location convenient to Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and Malibu for the beach and shopping. Bring groceries, cook dinner and stay up the hill in the evening and enjoy the view in either the font or the back of the cottage. This is a peaceful, special location and we are thankful to have been able to enjoy it if only for a few days.

Convenient and easy process
Great location Easy nearby beach accesss. Kickass walk back up from the beach, loved that the local grocery market and coffee house was nearby. Would recommend adding screened in doors so doors can be open and flys avoided. Also recommend more Hangers and maybe a small chest of drawers.

Beautiful property!
We had a wonderful stay! We came to Malibu for a wedding with friends and this house was perfect for our stay and less expensive (and nicer) than hotels around. The property is extremely clean and nice. We loved the view and the outdoor rocking chairs and seating area (perfect for coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings!) We had an issue with the water pressure one day and it was fixed within a few hours (on 4th of July no less!). It worked great for 4 different couples and provided enough privacy for each couple with the individual doors to the bedrooms but we also really enjoyed the common areas together. Robin was a great host and very friendly and workable with us. Would definitely reccomend this place!

Beautiful location!
This is our 2nd time staying at this property and the views are so lovely. It overlooks the ocean to the front, and the back views are of the vineyard and rolling hills. One of the reasons we chose to stay here again, is the privacy. So we were a little disappointed that there was landscaping work (planting, bushes, etc) going on each day of our stay, right in front of the cottage. They arrived every day by 7:15/30 am and worked all morning. This didn't allow for much privacy. Seems like this kind of work could have been completed on non-rental dates. Wish we would have known it was scheduled, we might have picked other dates to stay.

Affordable in the Midst of Pricey
What a wonderful, quiet, affordable and clean place to stay in west Malibu. It was convenient to PCH yet we felt out of the way with beautiful views out front (coast) and out back (canyon). We would absolutely stay here again.
