Depending on your bank or credit card issuer deposits may take up to 2 weeks to be returned. We have an overnight audit and ensure all deposits are released the day of the checkout.

Sands inn is always quick and quiet. Their service is always polite and they will speak with you about any concerns. The rooms are kept clean & they have many options if you have a big family.

Not Fabulous.
Nick the manager was very nice. Room was clean but very simple. Hardly any furniture. We booked it as the reviews said fabulous, it was not fabulous at all. Clean and simple.

We’re sorry to hear you did not have a good experience with your stay. We would like to take this opportunity to address the situation for all future guests regarding our reservations and policies. We have a good feeling of who you are because you were our only 3rd party reservation for that night. Upon arrival, you requested an earlier check-in time than is allowed by our policy; however, since we were able to accommodate you we allowed you to check-in early. Further, you booked a specific room online but requested a different that was not available for the night. We informed you that we were sold out for the night and the only room available was the room you originally reserved. You also requested to have an additional guest in your room that we, unfortunately, could not accommodate. It is our general policy to try to accommodate our guests as best we can based on our availability. Once again, we regret to hear you did not have a good experience due to our limited available because of the holiday weekend. We hope you found accommodations for your needs elsewhere.

This spot was a diamond in the rough! It was incredibly clean, very quiet, comfortable, cost effective, had great (free) parking, and was perfectly located. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and genuine. We will seek out this spot next time for sure!

It was an ok stay. The floors were dirty so was the box springs. The staff was very helpful and friendly but I don't feel it is very family friendly. Had I known that I wouldn't of stayed there with my 2 toddlers. Won't be returning there again with my family.

Great place to stay

This is a great family-owned motel with a reasonable price. I got there around 2am from the airport. Nick was really helpful to allow me to check out at 1pm to get enough sleep. I highly recommend this place!

I liked there being garage type parking. Although first-come availability, I was able to get it most of the time. The MOST disappointing was I did not get the room that was pictured with a fridge and microwave. These two things were most important in my lodging search because I wanted to save on meals. I felt like a bait and switch when I was tolds those rooms were not avaible on internet reservations.

Wasn't in the best area, but Nick definitely was a great person. He gave us hand warmers when he heard that we were going to be in the desert. Nice little area that's secluded from the rest of the town.

The Sands Inn is a welcome, clean and friendly hotel. Our door did not close properly, and the deadbolt did not work (rm 9), but other then that, the room was a welcome place to stay. I would stay here again for sure, as the price is excellent and you can tell that the ownership cares about your stay

We want to thank you for highlighting one of our key policies as a guest of our hotel. Our maximum occupancy per guestroom is clearly stated on our booking policy, labeled on our office window and was repeated by our staff when you arrived. Our rules are in place for all of our guests and to ensure that everyone enjoys a nice and quiet stay. When too many people are in one room they very often disturb the tenants in the nearby rooms. As you mentioned, we ask for both ID’s so that we know who is staying in the room to not only comply with local laws but ensure the safety of all guests should there be an emergency. Unfortunately, you tried to take advantage of our max guest per room policy and repeatedly lied to our staff at check-in and throughout the night. We offered you an option to cancel your booking at check in but you refused and stated there would only be two guests. It turned out that you were planning on having four adults stay in a room designated for double occupancy only. For this reason, you had the experience you did. I do thank you again for leaving us a 1-Star review because it lets other guests know that they can be assured a calm, clean and comfortable place to rest while visiting loved ones in the area or resting at night while traveling abroad. We will strictly enforce our rules stop to anything that affects the quality of all guests stay.

Price wise Sands inn was reasonable comparing to other hotels in the area and in new year eve, costumer service was wonderful.
