This was by far one of the worst rental experiences I’ve ever had. The unit we were given was not the one advertised. It had a completely different layout, address, and furnishings. Nothing matched the photos or description on the listing.At no point during booking were we told that we would be placed in a different unit than the one shown. We only found out after arriving, when the door code didn’t work and we were told they simply assign whatever unit is available. That kind of approach is completely misleading and dishonest—we did not agree to a “random available unit,” we booked what was advertised. To make matters worse, the place was filthy. There was visible mold(?) in the shower/fridge, dirty furniture, and a general sense that it hadn’t been properly cleaned at all. Several pieces of furniture were damaged or broken, making the stay uncomfortable and unacceptable for the price we paid.We contacted both the host and Vrbo right away, fully expecting a complete refund given the false advertising and unacceptable conditions, especially since we left within 30 minutes of arrival and had booked the unit for an extended 1.5-month stay. The host was nearly impossible to reach—I called almost daily with no resolution. Even with proof the listing was fraudulent, they still refused a full refund. Please do yourself a favor and do NOT ever book here.
