We loved this property! Loved the hot tub, pool table, ping pong, and the layout of the place. We had a blast! It is around farmland so if you don’t mind the manure smell it’s fine. Had an issue with the outlets in the bathrooms not working but I messaged the hosts and they were willing to send someone out that day. But I just wanted to let them know so it could be addressed in the future. We loved having a washer and dryer too. Overall we loved our weekend getaway!

We would give 11 stars if we could. The home was exceptionally clean, well decorated and we appreciated all the extras you do not typically get at most vacation rentals (coffee bar, quality cookware, plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher/laundry pods, quality outdoor grill, nightlights, the fresh flower clippings, the outdoor games, etc.) We thoroughly enjoyed all the outdoor games and the back porch/hot tub/fire pit. The hosting website and associated information was excellent and check-in was effortless. We will certainly recommend JJB Getaways properties to friends going to the area and will certainly look them up if coming back to the Mohican area. They have the most professional vacation rental operation we've encountered and can heartily recommend them 100%.

Amazing!

We (5, 7, 20, and 40 year olds) had the best time here. The property is even better than described and everything is so thoughtfully done. Stainless appliances, aluminum foil, basic spices, a lighter for the fire pit, very clean, every type of sugar for the coffee, propane in the tank. Thank you so much for having us, we’ll definitely be back!

We had a fantastic family weekend at the Little Lodge. The place was clean, well stocked and had a lot of family friendly activities (indoor and outdoor games, hot tub, fire pit). The location was very close to a lot of tourist attractions including Mohican Adventures, Pleasant Hill Lake and hiking trails. When we come back to Mohican we would love to book with JJB Getaways! :)

The perfect set up!

We had 4 generations of 5 family members from ages 7 to 90 to stay while attending a family reunion. The Little Lodge was accessible for all, had all of the niceties needed to keep everyone entertained, great laundry and convenient to Mohican State Park, Mohican Adventures and our family farm in Loudonville.

Cute Weekend Trip House

First of all I wanna start off by thanking the hosts for allowing my friends and I to book being that we were under the minimum booking age so that was something that I really appreciated. I will mention a few things in this review that I want to be taken as constructive criticism and positive feedback rather than trying to bash on anyone and taken in a negative way. When we first arrived the place was super easy to find and any questions I had I texted the owners and they were very quick with their responses. Although upon settling down and putting things away we did notice a few things about the cleanliness of the place. Those things being that the beds weren’t made, there were still dishes loaded in the dishwasher, and there were dirty towels piled up by the washer. Other than those few things everyone in my group had a lot of complements to the house and the structure. They really enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit was my personal favorite. The vibe of the patio at night really made it special with the way we would all hangout and turn the string lights on. There was plenty of parking for everyone and with the house being on the owners property and combined driveways, everyone going up and down the driveway was very respectful and the event they had Friday night didn’t cause a ruckus. In conclusion I am very grateful for being allowed to book and the house was very cute and comfortable. Other than those few minor issues upon arrival it is a great place to stay

Relaxing and enjoyiable

We had a great time in this beautiful and spacious 2 bedroom barndominium in a peaceful, private, country setting. This was a ladies trip with my daughter, sister and niece to celebrate my 66th birthday. The covered porch with the hot tub and comfortable outdoor furniture including a porch swing made it so nice for conversation and catching up. The hot tub helped us relax and unwind. Everything was clean and well maintained throughout. We are definitely going back with our hubby’s.

Perfect stay

The Little Lodge is the homiest and best-equipped rental property we’ve ever stayed at. I don’t think of myself as a decor person, but turns out I loved being in a house that kept surprising me with its decorative touches. We’ve stayed in a wide range of rentals over the years, and this is the only one that had literally everything we needed for our stay — including consumables like extra paper towels and laundry soap, as well as things we didn’t need but very much appreciated like games and cozy blankets.The property was extremely clean, communication was top notch, and we loved the pool table, hot tub and ping pong table. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The cutest Little Lodge

We really enjoyed staying at the Little Lodge. The house is adorable, had everything we needed and more, and enjoyed the amenities (hot tub, fire pit, yard games, board games, etc). Perfect relaxing getaway

My friends and I wanted to spend a weekend without kids/husbands/dogs and we wanted to relax, recharge, and reconnect. This place was just perfect to do that! We enjoyed the cute decor and vibe of the home, and Jodi was wonderful to communicate with. Even the little things like noise makers in the bedroom, snacks on the counter, etc. made this feel like home for the weekend. The home is nestled in the woods/plains area of Loudonville, but it’s not too far from the main roads either. We would absolutely come back and/or book with JJB again. Thanks for giving us the getaway we needed!!
