A Quiet Retreat

Overall outstanding stay. Much better than a hotel somewhere and gave a quite retreat at the end of each day.

Cute little lake place

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was well stocked and well decorated. Close to the lake and a nice lake view from the master. Would recommend

Simple and Relaxing

My wife and some friends were looking for a short stay not too far from home. The property was cozy and well kept, the hot tub was awesome, and we were fully stocked with restroom/kitchen supplies. Easy access and communication made our short getaway very relaxing! Highly recommend.

Bourbon Trail Getaway

We selected Taylorsville as a center location between multiple cities and distilleries. The gated community was lovely and the home had everything we could want . We enjoyed the entire VRBO experience. The home was warm and friendly , nice furnishings and was easy to find . Loved the hot tub and fireplace as we relaxed with our family . We highly recommend this place !

Rest and Relaxation

Beautiful countryside, beautiful lake. The house has everything you need and more. About a 30-40 minute drive to Bardstown, Distilleries, Arboretum, My Ole Kentucky home all with beautiful scenery. Mexican restaurant by the house is good and the country mart served our needs just fine. I would recommend!

There was dead bugs in the master bedroom bathroom floor. The toilet in the master bedroom is hard to flush. You have to push down very hard.

One of the best properties our family has stayed at.

We are new to VRBO. Spent many years staying at hotels. Our last hotel vacation was in Texas where we had an awful time at multiple locations. I am sure lack of staffing was a result of covid and because of that major hotel chains are no longer providing the same quality of service they use to. This stay in Kentucky was miles above the last place we stayed. We got the whole house to ourselves. No noisy neighbors, no cockroaches like in one of the Texas hotels, it was clean , safe and we got to bring our two dogs with us. Very happy we did this. Great place to stay. Highly recommend.

Perfect for our family

This cabin is very nice. Comfortable for a family of 6. Lots of room, great parent suite and even a hot tub. Unfortunately our trip wasn’t for pleasure but the ease of access and ability to relax was priceless. Very clean and well stocked.

Outstanding house and beautiful views!

The house was exactly as listed! Spacious with gorgeous views from the front porch. Hiking trails were easily accessible. The owners answered any emails with extremely quickly and brought a new propane tank for the grill when I mentioned it was empty! Definitely recommend!

An overall nice time.

All was as expected, beds were more comfortable than most. The decks were nice for sipping coffee and bourbon, and the inside whirlpool tub was a d light. The outside hot tub didn't work for us, but we didn't need it to, so we didn't call for help with it either. We had no interaction with owner or manager.

Great house! Super clean and well decorated

We loved our stay. The house is updated and well stocked - nice dishes, all utensils. Hot tub was great - nice privacy with the high fence and the woods in the back. Beds are comfortable and the sheets are high end. Upstairs suite is very nice - 2 balconies and both have a small view of the lake! One note: there is a McDs and Papa John's about 5 min from the house. We didn't see these on the map before we came. Nice to have quick options for the kids. They loved the bunk beds. TV in that room only has a DVD player, if you think to bring a few fav movies. They do have a great selection. Would also suggest brining your own Roku sticks for the TVs. Communication wiht the rental agent/owner was quick and easy. We would visit again!!!

Relaxing 5 days

We really enjoyed the quiet, gated neighborhood. We wanted to be away from things, but yet close too. We were able to drive to Louisville in about 45 minutes or so. At night, return and enjoy peace and quiet, which is exactly what we needed. I had a question late at night, emailed the manager and had a response in minutes -- can't ask for anything better. I would recommend this VRBO for your next get away destination.

Great Family Getaway

This property was the perfect setup for our family of 7, was very clean, and well stocked! We especially loved the fireplace and hot tub! Suzanne was a great host and very prompt when making our reservation.
