Relájese en la nueva bañera de hidromasaje y disfrute de lo que podría decirse que es la mejor vista de la comunidad. Su es una gran pantalla de televisión en el dormitorio principal para que pueda ver después de un día en el lago, o en la piscina, o volver del sendero bourbon. Hay una cama king en una habitación, y una litera, además de cama y nido en la otra, facilitan el sueño de 6 personas. Nada en la piscina o juega en el patio de recreo al final de la calle. Not the best way to enjoy Kentucky

Three of my closest friends came out to Kentucky to enjoy the bourbon trail and have a relaxing time away from the kids for a weekend. We are all over 40 and wanted to enjoy the countryside, watch football, and relax after walking the trails all day! This little rental had high reviews so I booked it. It was close to the lake with a hot tub and enough space for all of us. But upon closer inspection we had issues. The house was dirty, like it hadn’t been cleaned before we got there let alone in weeks. There were cobwebs on all the light fixtures. The hallway toilet was really hard to flush. The kitchen sink water didn’t get hot. On the front porch the rope lights were all falling down and we almost tripped on them carrying our luggage in. The windows all had BUGS caked on the edges and on the glass. You couldn’t open any windows without a spider web being right in your face. The sliding doors from the master to the deck was nothing but spider webs and bugs caked all over the doors. The deck was another story all together, the amount of bugs and spider webs out there was something from a haunted house! We tried to clear some of them out to use the hot tub but it wasn’t for the feint of heart. At night the bugs were insane and the owner left nothing to combat them…not even a fly swatter. I contacted the owner but got no response. We wanted desperately to use the hot tub but with the swarm of bugs that was impossible,then they got in the house and we had no way to get them out

Central location for the bourbon trail!

A great quiet location that is centrally located amongst the bourbon trail. We used this location and visited Bardstown, Louisville, and Lexington areas and it was great! Loved coming back after a long day and relaxing in the hot tub! Highly recommend!

I’ll be back!

I’ve enjoyed coming to Taylorsville Lake now several times. The resort is quiet. With the gate at the front of the resort I feel safe and have come a few times by myself. The cottages are wonderful. I find most of them to be equipped with many amenities that I don’t need to pack. The area is serene and has become my sanctity. I’ll be back!

Squeaky clean, beautiful view of lake, private & quiet resort.

We were all very happy with this house. It was stocked with everything we needed and was very clean. The beds were very comfortable with nice, soft sheets. The location was gorgeous. Pictures don't do it justice. There's a beautiful view of the lake from the kitchen and deck. They had all of the different TV subscriptions which was so nice. The resort was very quiet and clean. We will definitely go back again!

Quiet and comfortable getawaty!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Seabiscuit! It was bright, clean, and welcoming. We appreciated the thoughtful features of the cottage - from the smart TVs and charging station to the lovely welcome note and treat! The location was wonderful for us, with the resort road being quiet enough for short morning dog walks, before heading out for longer outdoor adventures. Taylorsville State Park was less than 10 minutes away with nice options for hiking. Louisville was about a half hour away, giving us access to any sort of outdoor or indoor experience we could want. A lovely, peaceful place to relax after a busy day - especially if we would have made time for the hot tub. Next time. Thank you, Natalya and Suzanne!

Beautiful secluded house

We enjoyed our stay in a perfect lakehouse in a quiet area. The view was gorgeous with the fall colors, house was tidy, and the hot tub was clean and worked well.

Always Enjoy!

Love this tidy little cottage. We visit here often and always enjoy our stay. I love that pets are welcome, even though we let Fido stay home this time. This property is well appointed with large TV's which is a must for my husband. There is a very handy charging station for all digital devices and the kitchen is adequately stocked for casual meal prep. We will return to this property again!

Bourbon Trails & Louisville Ease

We had a great time at this quiet retreat! We were able to easily get to Louisville and the countryside for our Bourbon Trail needs. The space for 2 couples (4 adults) was great -- two beds, two baths, great space for eating & entertaining PLUS a hottub!

Neat location

This was a cute little cabin that fit our needs traveling with our dog. It was clean and comfortable. The back deck was nice but had peeling paint and would be so much nicer if repainted.

Excellent cottage for peaceful stay!

We loved our stay at Seabiscuit! Communication with management was clear, prompt, and always so courteous! Check-in and checkout were a breeze. The cottage was very clean and exactly as pictured. We were very comfortable there and enjoyed the space. The resort area was well-kept and very serene. We loved the view of the lake and the night sky from the hot tub on the deck. The cottage is just a quick drive away from a well-stocked grocery store as well as carryout locations - so you're set whether you want to cook or not! We were also able to spend a day in Louisville since it's a reasonable drive away (about 35 minutes). We would definitely stay here again!

Great Weekend

We had a great time and hope to return when warmer.

Everything was excellent considering the weather. Only issue was Hot Tub was our main reason for going and it was dirty and under filled. We had to add water and that kept us fom using it the second night and the morning before we left as it did not get warm enough.

Amazing, Peaceful Honeymoon Getaway!

With COVID, we were so stressed about finding a good spot to get a way to without flying, but this ended up being the perfect little cottage! It was a drive to get to the nearest cities, but none of that mattered with a view like they had, the hot tub, the over all feel of the cottage! We didn't even want to leave!

Wonderful little get away for our family! We loved the house and rented a pontoon right up the road!

We really enjoyed this property. It was clean, well stocked for us to cook and had a beautiful view. We will be coming back!
