Close to everything

Beautiful views, quiet area, close to Rose Bay Bistro and General Store, Lahave ferry, Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, Bridgewater. Loved the decor, the upstairs deck, the covered porch, outdoor showers.

We stayed for 3 days and 3 nights as part of our 20th anniversary trip to Nova Scotia, and it was everything we hoped it would be! Fantastic views, peaceful location and the Cabana had everything we needed. We had ‘happy hour’ followed by local seafood dinners on the rooftop every night, and a s’mores with a glass of wine by the fire.Easy drive to Lunenburg (which is a must) and a number of beaches (Sand Dollar was great).Many thanks to our hosts Jacqui and Andy for sharing their beautiful cabana!

South Shore Gem

Location and property are exceptional and perfect for exploring all that Nova Scotia’s South Shore has to offer. Ideal for couples and those like us who like to travel with our pet. Lovely ocean views and beautiful private beach for long walks and lazy afternoons. Kitchen is well appointed and many thoughtful homey touches like star glazing blankets and fabulous beach chairs. Even an outdoor shower! A perfect 10/10!

Another Wonderful Stay At Whitecaps

We just returned from another amazing week at Whitecaps Cabana. The design is so well thought out, and we thoroughly enjoyed the upper deck and the screened in room. Beautiful views with up to date amenities

We enjoyed our stay. Our only disappointment was the inside of the property is on the small side (e.g. the kitchen table needs to fold away to provide room to move around easily). The outside spaces are wonderful and we greatly enjoyed them.

Peaceful

The Whitecaps Cabana is absolutely peaceful. The house is so thoughtfully laid out and organization maximized for tiny home living. The outdoor spaces are spectacular and we so enjoyed lounging and enjoying the view on the upper and lower decks. The outdoor shower is the absolute highlight of the whole property! Even in the rain, the shower is an absolute joy. Thank you for this amazing property!

Beautiful water-side property, great hosts

We absolutely adored this cottage! We're not new to VRBO and AlRbnb, we've been staying at rentals for over 7 years, and this one has been our absolute favourite! Amazing location on the southside of NS, close enough to small towns for shopping/groceries, fun twisty roads to drive on along the coast, lots of parks and natural beauty, and just the perfect getaway vacation. The hosts were responsive and kind, and were even able to promptly fix a small problem we were having with the front door. The space was comfortable and cozy, with everything you'd need. The outside patios were wonderful at all times of the day. Some days, we just stayed at the cottage instead of exploring because it was so nice! If you're thinking of renting this spot, just go for it - it's worth it!

Had a peaceful time.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect place to getaway for a few day and very peaceful. Even if it rains you can sit and enjoy a book. The private beach is worth the trip down the stairs. Thanks Andy and Jacqui, We’ll definitely return.

Great area.

Riverport is a great area, quiet, few tourists. Local marine shop with endless supply of nautical artifacts is extremely interesting. Rose Bay store and restaurant is fantastic for supplies and fantastic local food.

Cabana 25 Whitecaps

This cabana was one of the coolest place I've ever stayed. Its truly couple's gate-a-way. The view from the cabana was spectacular. my early morning cup of coffee sitting in the screened porch, I was visited by a couple of deer's almost daily during my time there. The property owners were very friendly. I can't say enough about this place other than I plan to return.. Thank you for sharing your place with us...

Relaxing

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at this property. The weather wasn't the best, but we didn't mind at all. The property had everything we needed and can't wait to go back. The area has a lot to offer - take the ferry to the bakery, go to the many beaches, take a drive into Lunenburg, or just relax at the cottage.

Perfect Stay!!

Whitecaps Cabana was the perfect place for us to spend our week long trip in Nova Scotia! We enjoyed the daybed on the upper deck, the fire pit, the outdoor showers, and the massive comfortable bed. We would definitely stay here again. 😊

Beautiful cottage with great amenities!

This is a great little cottage with amazing views and a lot of amenities available, thoughtfully laid out to make the most of the space. We loved the outside shower option, the screened in porch, and the upper deck for stargazing. The hosts are easy to get in touch with and provided everything we needed. Highly recommended!

Relaxing Getaway

White caps Cabana was amazing and everything we were looking for in a three night getaway. The accommodations were exactly as described, and the view was amazing! So much to see and do within a short drive. The private beach was beautiful and the warmest for swimming and long walks. We were fortunate to have great weather, campfires every night and some great stargazing. The Cabana has everything you need and more.
