Lots of places to eat at around the area and they give you a discount if you order food downstairs at their bar and give you a free drink voucher - was good. “The cabin was clean, the beds comfortable, tea,coffee and milk were provided. Our cabin even had a dishwasher. The gardens are immaculate. The staff are wonderful. I highly recommend getting up before sunrise, walking the few steps down to the river and watching the sun rise over the Tamar River. We really enjoyed our stay there.”

“I cannot understand the 4 stars rating on Expedia (it’s rather a 2*: converted house with a few rooms to rent). The cleanliness is inconsistent. The good: very clean bedsheets and towels, no smell. Low price. Parking included. The bad: ingrained dust in the bathroom ledge of tiles, sticky grime on power switches, fridge door, doors and night tables. Basically on everything people normally touch. The bathroom is small, with a minuscule sink. I would never recommend it to anyone.”
