Sadly, it smelled badly of wet dog and there was a dirty patch of floor and skirting board in the bathroom which looked like mud at best, or dog mess, at worst. Although we are dog owners, we do like a room that smells nice and that’s cleaned properly.”

“Bit of a gamble as we’d never been before but was booked as a last minute weekend away without breaking the bank. Excellent communication post booking and a very warm welcome upon arrival from Julia on reception. Room was clean, bed extremely comfortable and a decent selection of emergency toiletries. Good parking. Relaxed breakfast with a variety of tasty choices. Would definitely stay again if in this area.”
