This was our 3rd stay at Rainbow Beach club. First time in this unit. We arrived early due to our flight being ahead of schedule. Had to call the owner Mike as the lock was time delayed. Once inside the unit it was very warm and we had to call Mike as the AC was turned off and we couldn’t get it to turn on. The unit was clean. The next day the fridge stopped working.Mike instructed us to turn the fridge off to defrost it which was problematic as we had just been to Super U and bought groceries for the week. Mike had a person deliver a cooler 30 min later so the fridge could be defrosted. This remedied things but it was an inconvenience and required us to mop the floor the next am due to all the water on the floor from defrosting the fridge. Compared to other units we have rented we found this once sparsely equipped. There is a pod coffee maker but the cups supplied are too small for a full pod, It was lacking in items such as dishcloths,drying cloths, any cleaners for cleaning the sinks or counters. There were no steak knives, only 2 kitchen knives, no strainer. There were no games,books,beach chairs,umbrella or floaters.Mike did end up supplying us with 2 beach chairs when asked. We found the master bed to be very hard and uncomfortable, sheets rough.. The internet was very slow. Mike was a responsive host. The balcony faces northwest so was cool during the day and you could see the sunset from the patio (our favourite part of the condo) We would not stay here again.
