Great place if you are looking for beautiful setting and quiet and proximity to Lucca and surroundings. Great pool and landscape. Drive up the hill long and winding but worth it once you get there.

Fabulous villa

Villa exceedes our expectations. Just a beautiful place. Road to Villa didnt bother us. We like those kinda of roads. Vrbo didnt mention viper snakes That freaked me a bit, Didnt see any. I dont like any snakes HOST WAS AMAZING, and took care of all our needs Id highly recommend thia Villa, ill be back

Charming villa with pool in an excellent location

The best vacation we have ever had. Our family consisted of my wife and me, four of our adult children. We were there for 2 weeks. Villa was terrific, furnished with everything you needed, great location for daily trips to other great cities. Swimming pool was super. Mrs Sonia was very easy to work with and had all the answers to our questions. A once in a lifetime experience

We are counting the days untilour return next year

Absolute paradise. We are counting the days until our return in May 2020. The views from the villa and the pool took my breath away - several times a day! The accommodations are very comforta-ble in the simple Tuscan style. Sonia and Mr Giovanni provided a wealth of information about the surrounding area - from local history and restaurant recommendations to all the directions and in-formation needed for our day trips around Tuscany. We plan to spend more time exploring Lucca this trip. My only complaint...we had to leave!

High on Tranquility

We needed a peaceful rest and that was easily found at Villa Gufo. It is so quiet, absolutely beautiful and a well functioning home where things were very easy to find and working well. Great pool and pool area. The house is a bit difficult to find and the road to and from is a bit of a struggle. Probably due to the autumn the house was rather cold, especially at the ground floor and no way to heat it.

We‘ll always keep this trip in good memories!

The house is fantastic, it is completely secluded and quiet in the mountains. The house is perfectly equipped and furnished with love. Not a typical holiday home where everything is just thrown together. Nothing was missing. The beds are super comfortable. The pool is huge with a perfect view. The tennis court is in very good condition. There was even a vegetable patch that you were allowed to help yourself to. There is a small supermarket within 15 minutes. The centre of Lucca is about 30 minutes away. Day trips to PisaFlorence are very feasible.
