“Pros: Beautiful historic mansion, including shared lounges downstairs and on landing. Whisper quiet. Excellent bathroom (but cold floor in winter). Yale lock on door. Lovely park grounds and views. Good food and local wines in restaurant. Couple of minutes drive to town centre. Cons: Was overpriced unless you’re a golfer or lover of history. Checking in was confusing and involved a bit of to and fro in the complex, especially when desk is unattended. ”

“One of the BEST restaurants in Australia and the best Beef Fillet I have had in many years at many 5 Star restaurants that just can not cook it properly at medium rare, Peacock restaurant was FLAWLESS in food and service. Room was also as was reception, facilities first class. My first visit I now want to change my future bookings to this Motel for my monthly business travel.”

“Room was clean and tidy with all the usual appliances, cutlery plates bowls etc. Larger room allocated in the back section that was quiet and comfortable. Good value with Al-a-Cart breakfast included that was more than sufficient to start the day. Would stay there again.”
