“Friendly staff. Spacious room with a view overlooking the countryside. Charging point for the car was free of charge for guests. We had a meal there which was on the pricey side but the food was exquisite. There was a choice of different breakfasts. We selected the Eggs Royale which was beautifully presented and delicious. Good value for money. Overall a really enjoyable stay. ”

“Fantastic hotel right in the centre of Worcester. Staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough to help you. I left something in my room on departure and they called me straight away and organised to return to me. Amazing service, will definitely stay again”

“Stayed with my husband for an event locally, so one of the nearest hotels to Madeley. Pretty pub which gets quite busy. We stayed in a fab room at the front overlooking the road. We didn't hear any noise though. Quite a large room with tea making facilities/biscuits. Good bed size probably, king, not as comfy as some I've stayed in but ok. Good sized bathroom with separate shower. The pub serves food and we ordered bbq ribs, they did state as we'd not booked a table we would have to eat...

“Wonderful room, very spacious and cool. Yes air conditioning goes a long way these days for the beginning of an English summer. Breakfast was also quite nice, it was freshly cooked and generous. If I’m ever headed down this way again, I’ll be sure to stay again. ”

“An historic property in the heart of the tourist area. Beautiful streets, buildings and pubs. Great breakfast options, 5 lb full English or continental delivery to room door. Lovely staff, nice room. And a pub right downstairs!”

“Lovely location overlooking the river. 15 minute drive to Telford International Centre (we were there for my daughter’s cheer competition). Close to Ironbridge which is gorgeous. Nice big room and great shower. Lovely staff. ”

The games room is helpful and reasonably well appointed although showing signs of being "well used" Whilst providing reasonable value for money, typically the kitchen could do with updating and providing a more comprehensive range of cooking utensils. Providing one (average quality) bath towel and one hand towel (plus bed linen) at (an additional) £10 each person seems somewhat odd given how many...
