Loved everything about Kuby's Place. It is so cute and very roomy. Everything is updated and luxurious. The bed is SO comfortable! Enjoyed the throw blanket on the couch. Nice little extra touch. Deck has a great view. Host was very nice and responds quickly. Location is perfect too. Can't wait to go back.

Great overnight stay!

Wonderful little one bedroom casita. The outside deck was a nice space to relax and enjoy the Texas evening. The bed is hands down the most comfortable I've ever slept in! Kitchen is nicely appointed and the casita has a great location. Nice little coffee shop right down the block. We hope to return again!

Birthday week

I was celebrating my 66th birthday on August 9th and although I have always lived in Texas, I had never visited the Spoetzel brewery in Shiner. So our stop in Shiner was the first two nights of my celebration before heading to Austin.The Kuby House was a perfect spot to enjoy our time in Shiner. There was even a set of dominoes! The spirit of Kuby probably enjoyed hearing the rattle of dominoes in his old hangout.Thanks for a great time in Shiner Tx!

Shiner Fun

The house was very small but perfect for us. I was under the impression based on the description that dogs were allowed to just bring, did not know I was supposed to add them in as a “guest” . New to VRBO. Turns out there is a small pet fee but that was fine, paid it after the fact because there are cameras on the property so assuming they watched us come in on the camera or played it back. Felt bad that I didn’t tell them in advance though. They messaged me about it after check out and they were very nice about it. The house was easy to find and had parking right behind the casita. Felt safe and the AC worked good. You could easily walk to shiner brewery from here.

Convenience and Comfort

We booked this for our dear missionary friends so that they could attend a funeral here in Shiner. they gave 2 thumbs up for the bed and the shower. Being that they travel in an RV all across America serving the Lord by remodeling or repairing churches, youth camps, etc. they thoroughly enjoyed their stay in a quaint home environment. Thank you again Phyllis and Rodney!
