“What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!”

“Absolutely loved stopping here, it is such a fantastic location and a beautiful property to match. “On a spacious site by a river, we were welcomed to this superb accommodation by casual and friendly hosts and enjoyed the sporting facilities like golf, tennis, snooker walks and cycling and as well as the castles, restaurants and other amenities in this lovely area. We had only one infant but he too was well catered for.”

“Great location just South of Ballater on Glenmuick estate. Enjoyed being wakened by the wildlife rather than planes. Not sure if the cottage is haunted but was wakened at 3am on the first night by creaking stairs. Anyway didn’t detract from our stay. Cottage is in need of upgrading e.g. ancient shower and paintwork in need of attention. That may concern some people but did not detract at all from our stay.
