The Peacock Room

The Peacock Room sits upstairs, catching breeze, light, and a glimpse of the ocean through the garden.  

Inside: a queen bed, AC, ceiling fan, small desk, simple storage, and lockbox. Outside, the balcony usually steals the show, with a hammock, fold-up bar, and space to dry off salt and sun. The bathroom is open-air, with plants close and sky above.  

Downstairs is a shared kitchen, dining, and lounge area. Just across the road is Sunshine Café, run by Pradeepa, who started here as our housekeeper and now cooks fresh Sri Lankan food daily. Eat downstairs, on the rooftop, or from your balcony hammock. If you’re curious, she might even show you how it’s made.  

You also have access to the yoga shala, small gym, massage space, plunge pool, outdoor shower, skatepark and concrete halfpipe. Surfboards and skateboards are available to use, and the beach and surf break are a short walk away. 

Up top, the rooftop lounge is made for sunsets and slow evenings. 

Parking’s easy if you’ve got wheels.
