Meals were excellent. Service was better than 5* hotels. Staff was lovely. Definitely coming back. Highly recommend Sayed's hotel. They made us feel like family. The manager even went iut if his way to find me out of season mamgoes.

Sayed, the owner is a remarkable human being. Highly intelligent, kind, humble and very organized, which are a powerful combination when running a hotel. I cannot recommend his establishment highly enough.

This is the only hotel you should stay at on the West Bank!! The owner Sayed goes above & beyond to make your stay special & easy. He helped us get the reqs for the Luxor Pass, SIM cards, & took us for traditional Egyptian breakfast at a local restaurant. Rooms are clean and the restaurant serves good food. Can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Excellent Location, The owner and entire staff went out of their way to ensure we had a welcoming and amazing experience here. We booked our transportation to sites and balloon experience directly with the hotel upon arrival. The food was amazingly good!! Highly recommend to stay in this enchanting place. Thank you.

Sayed and the team were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was fabulous and the property super well kept. It’s close to everything you need to do on the West Bank and if you need they can organise a driver for you. There are plenty of local taxis and Tuk tuks too. Dinner is very reasonably priced and has a wealth of options - all Egyptian. I can’t recommend staying here enough!

Clean hotel and friendly staff

I wish my stay here was longer. The service and hospitality were fantastic. And the attached restaurant had delicious local foods…I’m still thinking about the lentil soup! The hotel also arranged airport transfers so that I didn’t have to worry about getting to the hotel or airport. Saves bargaining with people outside the Luxor airport. The only downside was that the shower was very small and not the easiest to enter/exit due to the placement of the sink.

The property is great, but the staff are exceptional. Attentive to every need and above and beyond generous. Would absolutely recommend and will be back. I normally do not write reviews but had to this time. Tell the owner Landon sent you. He's great.

Direkt beim Taltempel von Amenhotep III. und in der Nähe des Fährübergangs direkt zum Luxortempel gelegen, bildet das Hotel den idealen Ausgangspunkt für eine Erkundung des antiken Theben. Service und Ausstattung als hervorragend zu bezeichnen, wird diesen nur bedingt gerecht, denn von der Zuvorkommenheit und Hilfsbereitschaft, aber auch der Sauberkeit und Instandhaltung der Räumlichkeit könnte sich so manches höherpreisiges Hotel in Europa oder Nordamerika eine große Scheibe abschneiden. Kurzum: Unbedingt zum empfehlen!

A very authentic Egyptian hotel experience, a little oasis in the absolute best location for ‘the valley of the kings’ & very many temples. Peaceful location within authentic ‘Luxor’ farmlands, beautifully placed & located with views of the ‘valley of the kings’ - a very ‘unspoiled’ and genuine place. I considered a large chain hotel, I’m happy I chose this beautiful building, lovely gardens, swimming pool, local small business shops for convenience very close by. Lovely home cooked dinner, nice buffet breakfast. Owner can help with tours & take care of your every need no problem! Lovely staff & very hospitable. Highlights - valley of the kings & a hot air balloon experience - this is ‘bucket list’ - dreams come true stuff! Thank you New Memnon Hotel x Helen x

Propriétaire très accueillant, bien situé

Très propre, cuisine impeccable (peut être la plus grande fierté du proprio), très bon et bon marché. Les repas sont conséquents, les petit dej aussi, les produits excellent, la préparation impeccable; Aucun doute sanitaire. La chambre est également très propre, confortable et calme, près des colosses de Memnon, à 15-20min à pied (j'aime bien marcher, faites de même !) de la vallée des reines, proche de la vallée des nobles et du village des ouvriers. Bien situé pour se rendre en taxi à la vallée des rois pour 30-40pounds max. Négociez sec vos excursions. Prix du taxi vers l'aéroport honnête. Belles discussions avec le proprio, très sympathique.

スタッフの方はとても親切で、滞在中とても気さくに声をかけてくれて、助かりました。プールも綺麗で、うさぎなどもペットでいてより癒されました。朝ごはんも美味しかったです。部屋も綺麗で、ドライヤーも貸してくださりました。またルクソールに行く機会がありましたら、利用したいです。併設しているレストランは利用しませんでしたが、美味しそうでした。

Very clean room, great AC and a lovely pool! More than anything, Sayed was incredibly welcoming and helpful - when our hot air balloon was cancelled for bad weather, he helped us plan the perfect alternative activities. Fantastic location right next to the valley of the kings/queens and lovely views over the fields. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

They never cleaned the room while I was there, and the bathroom wasn’t clean enough when I arrived. The breakfast was poor. The only good thing is that the hotel is close to the Memnon, Hatshepsut Temple and other interesting places.

Great hotel, amazing food, close to historic sites

Fantastic location. It is possible to reach most temples (even Hatschepsut) by hiking. The hotel serves natural food from its garden, home-made goat cheese and eggs from a small chicken farm. Even though the price for lunch/dinner is a bit high, it's absolutely worth it. Room amenities are basic, countryside-style but clean, mattress was perfect. Every morning the hot air balloons fly over the property which is spectacular. It is difficult to get to the ferry or to go shopping in the village because locals constantly try to overcharge you. Remember the minibus to the ferry is 2 pounds, a motorbike is 5 pounds, and a car may take you for 10 pounds, but drivers will demand 100 or 50 pounds first and foreigners never get anything without the hassle of negotiating and arguing and involuntary tipping (It’s a Luxor problem in general). That said, the hotel is great and absolutely recommended as starting point for an exploration of the historic sites nearby.
