A lovely B&B, very friendly and welcoming hosts, quiet and clean, very reasonably priced. An excellent choice for the end of day one of our NC500 tour.

The heart of Scotland
We arrived late but we were very welcomed, had a lovely discussion with the owner. Bed was the most comfortable I've slept on in years. Breakfast was fantastic

This is a lovely B&B! The property is modern and thus lacks the charm of a traditional old Fashioned B&B but it makes up for it in comfort, hospitality, views and breakfast! The bed was enormous and extremely comfortable as was the room. The hostess was friendly and helpful and made a delicious breakfast. The picture window in the dining room offered one of the best views of the water sand the bluffs and the horses grazing out front was just a nice addition. On top of this, it was the most reasonably priced of any of the properties we stayed at on our tour of the NC500! Would definitely recommend it and would definitely stay here again!

Friendly welcome. Excellent breakfast. Tunnocks teacakes and wagonwheels with the drinks in our room. Large en suite room with a lovely view of the distant coastline. Lots of parking. Be prepared to go into Wick to eat or eat en route as there is nowhere nearby.

Comfortable room but smells of smoke
We stayed here as part of our NC500 trip - the hotel is located just off the main A99 road from Wick and there are very nice sea views from the property. We stayed in a room w/ a four poster bed and a massage cushion on a chair which were both comfortable. The hosts were welcoming and friendly - we were asked the previous evening what we wanted for breakfast the following morning and the morning meal was very nice. The bathroom for our room was for our use only and was located across the main hallway from our room. Now, on to the only downside, the room smelled quite strongly of cigarette smoke, this was only a minor disturbance to us but it was definitely noticeable. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here and, as long as you don't mind the lingering smell of cigarette smoke, you should be all good here.

This was a very weird experience. The entire house and rooms were open at all times, no keys or locks. I felt like I was in someone’s house, the kitchen was pretty messy too with paper work everywhere etc. Didn’t feel like a hotel, more like I was sleeping in someone’s house for the night. The room itself was nice, with clean and cosy bedding, but felt uncomfortable that we couldn’t lock our bedroom. Even though the breakfast is as very nice, they definitely overcharge for their rooms. The staff (or family even) were nice but there was absolutely nothing there, even the closest town which was a 25 minute drive away, had only one pub open which was a spoons. I expected more for how much we paid etc

this is a very weird review our house insurance would be invalid if we did not lock our doors at night, you knew the price when you booked the town is 12 miles away and there are several bars and pubs open we are amazed at your review my husband and I thought you were a very pleasant couple and enjoyed your company so it is disappointing to score a 2

Lovely hosts were very welcoming. Every window has an amazing view out. The room was clean and we had a great nights sleep. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. Couldn't fault Antlers, would happily return if we are ever in that part of the country again

Perfect getaway
Stayed here for one night but will be back! On arrival tea or coffee was offered and after a long day of travelling was very much welcomed. The rooms were lovely and spacious and the bed was very comfy. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming and the homemade breakfast in the morning was superb.

Very welcoming and a great service. Got some good advice on what to go and see. Check out whaligoe steps just a few miles up the road and talk to the locals there to get a great history lesson.

Super Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis. Einfaches B&B, konfortabel und sauber. Inhaber sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Es ist eine Farm- fast auf der Klippe und nicht direkt im Ort.. Schön zum Wandern. Man bekommtwad was vom Leben in Nord Heigland aud dem Lande mit. Früstuck sehr gut - man kann von einer Liste bestellen, was und wie man es haben will. Einkaufen besser vorher, oder im Wick (wo man am alten Castel super wandern kann). Nur wenige Restaurantts im Ort - Piknik empfohlen.
