This was our second stay at the lodge on the lake. Sadly the weather was not very kind, but the lodge is cosy and comfortable, and well-equipped so we had a lovely relaxing time anyway.

Excellent communication with host & easy check-in procedure. Clean &comfortable accommodation in a beautiful location with easy access to the coast & woodland walks. No complaints from the dog.

have stayed at the holiday park before and its a great location for exploring the surrounding area. as it was a lodge as opposed to a caravan, the beds and bedrooms are a better size

A chilled place to stay

A lovely cosy cabin by the lake. Walking, fishing and golf at various courses- this was a great base for us to chill out and do our favourite things.

Loved this little lodge. It felt surprisingly spacious for the four of us, and was in a lovely, quiet spot. The added bonus of the park facility passes was a nice touch. Would definitely stay again.

Great Place

Lovely place to stay although a little closer to other properties than expected. That said, super lodge, great communication from owner. Really relaxing place to stay with lots of extra touches that make it special.

Loved our stay at the lodge really comfy everything you needed.Especially loved the walks through the forest to the sea. My other half enjoyed the fishing I would definitely recommend

We had a great 4 day stay. Accommodation was great and weather reasonably kind, albeit not complying with the forecasts!Fish were very obliging for my brother in law; I think he probably introduced himself to most of them!

Cabin had everything we needed for a great stay. Lovely location on the lake. Very comfortable beds. An easy 10min walk to the beach. Would love to go back! Kate was super helpful, thank you.

Good property, lives up to the VRBO description

Property was very clean with good car parking. Nice shower - both strength and temperature. Suitable cooking facilities, also nice restaurant on site.

Wonderful relaxing holiday!

Brilliant location of lodge overlooking lake. Great facilities, very clean lodge, well equipped . Site facilities okay, indoor swimming pool great, good system for sessions, lovely woodland walks especially the fairy woodland walk.

Great Location

Fantastic for exploring the New Forrest and a short walk to Milford on Sea through the Woodland Walk. There is a superb Micro Pub and one the best Thai meals to be enjoyed. The Beach House Pub is a must for the food and views of the Needles.

RELAXING STAY

South facing decking is wonderful when the sun is out Well appointed lounge, diner, kitchen area Comfortable sofas, and well lit kitchen prep and cooking area Very comfortable bed Lodge situated just a few yards from ancient woodland walk. Excellent for dog walks away from other lodges

Family holiday

Wonderful location, in a quiet part of the park but only a 10 minute walk to Shorefield Park facilities. Host was very contactable and accomodating when we wanted to stay longer. They organised passes for us so we could use the pool at the park too.

Lovely Lodge Relaxing Environment

The area where the lodge is located is around 10 minute walk from the main entertainment area/indoor & outdoor pools, this suited us as it is a quieter area next to a fishing lake and only 10 mins walk onto the sea front, the lodge was clean and well presented and very well equipped. Communication with the owner Katie was excellent. The 30 minute wooded walk to Milford was very nice (once we'd established the route!)
