“The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The entire experience was above what you would expect for a relatively cheap three star hotel.”

“It was clean and comfortable, they also supplied the towels and a very nice welcome pack. I would recommend this property to anyone holidaying in the area, we will certainly book sykes cottages again in the future.”

“The owners have thought of everything and more! The kitchen was beautifully fitted and kitted out, the bed we used was very comfortable, and the towels luxurious. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus. I had a question when we arrived, and the owner responded immediately. Our new favorite place!”

“Run by a lovely, very helpful couple who want your stay to be as good as it can be. Provided parking, excellent breakfasts, helpful local knowledge. The room was very clean and was refreshed & restocked each day. Highly recommended.”

No way would it lock, tried calling the hotel while I was out,...

“Great stay at the Metropolitan. Lovely room which had everything you'd need. Breakfast was of an excellent quality.”

We had two rooms just above the discotheque which is open at weekends and the night receptionist told us to expect a bit of noise but to be honest we were so whacked out it wasn't a problem. We...
