The house was perfect for us to just hang out, relax & enjoy the view. The hosts were very kind & helpful. We lost power one evening during a thunderstorm, & the hosts were quick to respond to my questions. The house had everything needed to cook our early Thanksgiving feast. My sister flew in from Florida for 2 nights & rented the house next door, which was perfect!! The houses share the same backyard & we could easily walk back & forth. The beds were super comfortable & we enjoyed our stay very much. Highly I’m recommend this house :)

Great lakehouse near Dallas

We were looking for a quick trip away for a couple days and found this nice lakehouse on cedar creek lake. The drive was only about 75 mins from north dallas. House was updated and very nice. Located on a quiet cover of the lake. total of 4 bedrooms with 3 large beds (queens/kings) and one bunk room. Think you could comfortably sleep 8-9. Kitchen/den/dining room were nice. Garage with ping pong table and darts and laundry room as well. Outdoor area is nice as well with seating for 6, bbq grill. further down the lawn is a seating area for 5 and fire pit. Firewood on side yard and fire starters in garage. Very nice dock with 2 levels, upper with table /chairs. One of the best features is you can rent a boat or jet skis and they will be delivered to the house for use. Communication with the rental team was excellent and any questions/issues we had were dealt with quickly. Overall very nice place.

Amazing Home with amazing views and yard!

What a wonderful place. Plenty of space, totally stocked with everything you might need. Very easy check in and out and adding the boat rental made the trip. With 4 bedrooms there was plenty of room for everyone. Overall this was amazing and we recommend this highly,

Girls Fun Get Away Week!!

The Lake Front Retreat was the perfect get away for a group of girl friends. It was so well appointed and attention to details was really nice. The location was convenient and easy to get to. We will be planning our next trip soon!

Love this property!

We have stayed at this house and the one next door multiple times and will keep coming back. It's a great location for large families to rent both houses and get all the benefits of the lake, sand volleyball, hot tubs, fire pits and even an outdoor set up for movies. It's the best!

Great Family Vacation on the Lake

We just had the opportunity to spend a week on the lake in this beautiful rental. The house was stocked better than any other home we’ve ever rented. The home was very new and the property managers were great. Renting a pontoon was a must, it was so much. Would stay there again

Fun Spot for a Get-Together

Our stay was great and the home was very clean and beautiful! Some things to keep in consideration is that this property has another property right next door that seems to also be a rental with no fence dividing the two. Our neighbors were nice and friendly so no issues here but good to keep in mind while booking. Second, the lake level was about 3ft deep from the dock. Not sure if this is how it always is or just due to being summer and lack of rain. Because of this, we didn’t spend much time on the water but rather in the hot tub! This property is stocked with plates, utensils and cups so cooking and using the grill our was super easy and convenient!

Beautiful Home

We enjoyed our weekend stay with our adult children. This home is beautiful and new. The bedroom arrangements fit our needs perfectly. We enjoyed the ping pong table and outdoor games in the garage. Things I wish were different: Needs large skillet in the kitchen(2 are provided but both very small when cooking for a family). Several of the pans and dishes we pulled out to use were filthy and needed washing before use (not washed before put up). The spider webs around the back porch and especially the dock were consuming. We had to use a broom and clean the porch and dock before use. The lake level was low around the dock (property owners cant control this I realize- I wish I would have asked about this prior) The water is 3-4 feet deep and unpleasantly warm compared to deeper water. I know we live in Texas and have excessive heat (things out of our control) but for our age of children (17-24) the water level and temperature of the water made the dock unattractive to us versus docks in deeper parts of the lake. Again, I should have asked about this prior to reserving. The yard was large and worked well for our family. I would stay here again if I knew the water level was higher. Texas always needs rain!

Perfect lake retreat

Absolutely perfect experience. House is beautiful and clean. Back yard with hot tub, firepit and dock was wonderful. Host was responsive, very welcoming and helpful. 5 stars in all aspects!

Beautiful and peaceful home

Booking was easy. I was a little confused when we entered bedroom 2. I really expected to see double beds since it says double in features for bedroom 2. It was no biggie because living room sofa was a sofa bed and we made it work. Darker curtains wouldn't be so bad to keep light out in mornings. The most important part was that this is such a beautiful house with enough space to fit a family of 12 and more. Well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Gorgeous deck and patio. We loved the spooky feeling we felt in the front yard, we gave the teens a little scare , which was enjoying because till this day they haven't stopped talking about it. We are planning on coming back in Oct for some Halloween spook. Love that the kid's bedroom had some entertaining games for us all. We didn't get to use the firepit since it rained the weekend we went. Hot tub was superb while it lasted. Hot water didn't last too long but it was fine since it was almost time to head inside. I hope next time we get to stay the whole weekend. Due to a family emergency we had to leave early. Overall, this stay was such an amazing experience. Thank you.

Great Relaxing weekend away from the city.

The house was great and had everything our family of 4 needed for a getaway weekend. We loved using the hot tub and the s’mores welcome gift was a huge hit with the little ones.

Beautiful property but zero privacy

The property is beautiful Would’ve been nice to have privacy in the backyard. There’s no fence on either side so you are seen by all of the neighbors and anyone can walk off the street and come in the backyard while you are in the hot tub. Unfortunately the lake is dried up so there are no lake views just high vegetation to look at. The home is absolutely beautiful but no privacy.

Wonderful stay!

We chose this property for our annual ladies getaway and were so glad we did! Everything was great and the little touches like firewood for the pit, s'more supplies and more really made a great first impression. The hot tubs definitely came in handy after a day of shopping in Canton. We all agreed that if available we will definitely book again next year. Kate was very attentive and quick to solve any issues we had. Wonderful stay.

Love!

This place was beautiful on the inside and had all the amenities. I loved that each bathroom had great shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There were several 'toys' for adults and kids, ping pong table, darts as well as a inflatable water slide. Now outside, its Texas and super hot right now. Everything is dying and lakes are down. I will say I did not pay attention to this and was disappointed that we could not use the boat dock to swim off of or dock our rental boat. This was mentioned on the site and an email was sent out. (I however missed both, shame on me) But, our family definitely made lemonade with the lemons. The water was down in the cove however we were able to use the private community dock just a few houses down. (there is a key) We were able to get our rental boat into the cove and walked out to load the boat. If you have your own boat you can definitely launch it at a near by park and bring it into the cove or load it at the park. Kate the property manager was awesome!!! She called me back immediately when I texted and answered all my questions promptly during the stay. Overall wonderful place. I can't wait to rent from here again when the lake comes back up.

Quiet and modern lake house

Overall, we loved this property! It's in a quiet neighborhood with little traffic. The house is modern and beautifully decorated. The bunkroom was perfect for 4 kids to sleep (there's a single trundle bed under the full). It had other amenities for the kids such as ping pong table (in garage) and some board games. We didn't use the outdoor fire pit or projector since it's hot as Hades in July, but it would be fun on cooler temperature nights. The only downside was the lake level. If you are hoping to rent the boat or swim off the dock, call before you book to assess the water level. It was too low to take the boat out or swim but we were able to get the kayaks down the ladder and pull them to the water (3 -4 ft away). Luckily Tom Finley park was about 10 minutes away. It had plenty of picnic benches, beach and swim area that we all enjoyed. The park entry is only $3/person (well worth it!)
