“As we wanted to visit New River Gorge National Park, this house was centrally located & very close to Sandstone Visitor Center. Plan ahead for food & supplies, as it is remote and not much around. My husband wants to return! It's a beautiful area & loved seeing the river. We got used to daily visits from the train.”

“This place was perfect for our trip. It was very clean and spacious. The game room was a plus for our kids and teenagers. The home had a lot of essentials needed. The only problem we had was the stove was a bit tricky to use but we eventually figured it out. It was nice and semi private. Will stay again if in West Virginia.”

“This place is just the cutest. It was small, but we had everything we could possibly need. It was clean and comfy and just minutes from area attractions. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. I would definitely recommend!”

Peggy adds a lot of little touches around the house to make you feel very welcome. “Everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. Remarkably clean! The title is serious…it is on a hilltop. If anyone in the group has mobility issues, it may be a bit of a challenge.”

The house is close to New River Gorge National Park. The town of Thurmans is nearby along with Concho overlook, Dunlop Falls and Finn’s Falls. The host is quick to respond. We definitely recommend staying here. ”
