“The escape villa is beautifully designed, with plenty of natural light and stunning tree views. The fireplace is a true centerpiece—gorgeous to look at from anywhere in the villa, while also providing excellent warmth and comfort. The open-plan jacuzzi is another highlight, perfectly positioned to take in the views. Both the couch and the bedding are very comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. A couple of small areas could be improved: the TV reception wasn’t great, and some of the bathroom...

“I was met with a very engaging owner who showed me through the hotel. My room was small but very clean with a comfortable bed and efficient heating. Bathroom was a shared bathroom but was very clean and plenty of hot water and large 'fluffy' towels. The evening meal was very tasty and there was not a long waiting time for the meal. Very helpful and friendly staff. A beautiful country hotel and I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.”

“I would have preferred an option to sleep on a western style bed due to my age [80 yrs] and not on a traditional floor setting otherwise my stay was a delight. ”

Jo the owner was lovely and helpful when needed and otherwise the stay was quiet and peaceful and away from the big hotels yet only 10 mins drive to Daylesford. “A small motel, with convenient parking outside your room. The room was small but not cramped, it was fresh and modern, bed comfortable and everything clean. Check in was contactless, through using a code for a key safe on the outside entry door and the system worked well. I would stay again.”
