Peaceful, wonderful ocean views, terrific stars in the nighttime canopy.
The house is a Ranch with numerous doors and windows allowing access to the outdoors from every point. An enclosed, screened in sun room on the main level & a spacious lower-level deck allow for great views, catching some rays and an evening cocktail. There is also an electric winch for launching & retrieving kayaks and canoes.For anyone who is mobility impaired, the house is easily accessed by an outside ramp. The main floor bedroom & handicap shower provide great space & is directly accessible from the main floor living area, with plenty of space for walker / cane navigation. The main floor features 2-full baths, 3-bedrooms, washer and dryer. A well-equipped Kitchen features a dishwasher and a full range of kitchen tools, a large collection of glassware, barbeque tools, coffee makers, toaster, grill and lobster cooker. Downstairs, has a family TV room, full bath & 1-bedroom. The house also features nice bedding with comfortable mattresses and plenty of towels.For lobster lovers, Captain Mike’s sells fresh, live, catch directly to the public, close by in Machiasport. Roque Bluffs State Park offers both salt and fresh water swimming. This is the part of Maine that most people never see: 20’ tides, reversing falls, harbors filled with working lobster boats sitting on a mud bottom at low tide, Eagles and naturally wild landscapes like the Great Wass Island Preserve.
