House had plenty of space and areas for everyone to enjoy themselves however they chose. Screened in porch had a great view and allowed for reading while still enjoying the lake. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

On Lake Time was a wonderful experience for the whole extended family. There was plenty of room with spacious accommodations for all. The great kitchen area made room for plenty hands. We were all able to sit for meals at the same table! Great times had on the dock, water and in the house. When asked about coming back here, there was a resounding YES by all. Bottom line, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Magical Week

We had a wonderful time at On Lake Time! We enjoyed the beautiful house in a wonderful location. We had everything we needed to fix big family meals, play at the dock, enjoy the fire pit, and hang out in the hot tub!

Perfect for the family

We had a mixed age group with us on this vacation. From 75 down to 2 and everywhere in between. There was plenty to do for all ages provided inside but being in the water, on the dock, hot tub, or deck is where we spent 99% of our time if not cooking and eating. There was a lot of wonderful memories made by all. The house, dock, and everything encompassed is very nice, clean, working, and very warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend this to anyone and if we come back to Gaston we’ll book here again.

Family vacation

Our stay was wonderful. Mike and Jen are wonderful hosts who resolve issues promptly. The house was beautiful and the location was great on the lake. Our family really enjoyed their stay there. We look forward to coming back in the future.

Wonderful family vacation spot

We had a wonderful time at On the Lake for our family reunion. The house is gorgeous and lake access wonderful. The kids had a wonderful time jumping off the dock and using the rope swing. We rented five homes in the area and although we knew this going in it was very hard to navigate between houses other than by boat. Which was a bit limiting for us for those with small children and older adults. It also limited late night visiting between houses for the teens. Just something to be aware of if you’re renting more than one house in the area for a family reunion. Other than that, it was a beautiful spot and Lake Gaston is very lovely.

Wonderful Lake house great for multi generational family vacation

We loved our stay at On Lake Time. The house had a great layout and had everything we needed for our family vacation. We only left the property to get groceries as we just enjoyed the beauty of the property, lake, and house. We can't wait to come back!

Wonderful Family Week celebration

Beautiful lakeside home! We had up to 16 adults and everyone fit comfortably. We had so much fun fishing, kayaking, playing pool and ping pong, relaxing in the hot tub and listening to music on the sound system. We only left once for a dinner out-we spent a lot of time cooking in the gourmet kitchen. The house was well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, etc. When we needed to ask the host a question, he answered right away. We would absolutely stay here again!

Thanksgiving with Four Generations

What an amazing property! A beautiful home with every feature you could hope for and dream of. The house was perfect for our multigenerational gathering with something fun to do for everyone. The beautiful setting and comfortable home added to the wonderful time we all had. Our family called it a "special retreat" and "like a vacation" and the "best VRBO we have stayed in"! Great hosts added to the ease and enjoyment of the stay!

Large Lake House with a Great Dock!

There were 13 of us staying at the house and you would have never known cause the house is so large and there are bedrooms & spaces for everyone! The best bedroom has to be the kids room over the garage… it can probably sleep 10 kids! We enjoyed the hot tub, the dock, the rope swing, the floating pad, the pool table, the ping pong table, and of course swimming and tubing in the lake! There are many areas in the house so everyone can spread out. The extra fridge in the garage is a nice bonus and we also liked the ice maker in the downstairs bar area. The beds were all comfortable and the upgrades and decor in the house are all very nice. The owners were very responsive to questions and any time there was an issue they were quick to fix it and make sure everything was taken care of for us during our stay. Would recommend this lake house to anyone who is planning to visit Lake Gaston. Thanks for opening up your home to us!

Beautiful home in gear location

We just completed a wonderful stay, the property was outstanding. It was absolutely beautiful and well maintained. Everything you could ask for in a property in a great location on the lake. The owners were exceptionally responsive to our needs. Highly recommend this property.

Great Family Vacation

We really enjoy our stay! It was perfect for our large family. Lots of comfortable sleeping spaces. The house had lots to offer and was in a safe gated community. We really enjoyed the lake! The owners were super helpful and very fast with responses. It is a bit of a drive to the local Walmart (around 25 minutes) but there was a dollar general really close by. Overall, it was a great relaxing family vacation that helps you get away from it all!

Beautiful Lake Vacation

Our family had a wonderful stay at On Lake Time! The home has a great location in a quiet cove with plenty of dock space to enjoy the lake. The inside was well appointed with space for everyone to be together or spread out. We loved the fire pit and multiple decks.

Wonderful family Thanksgiving trip

Perfect home for our group of 16. Had our Thanksgiving dinner and everything was wonderful!! Kitchen was well stocked. There was something for everyone for entertainment, games, pool table, ping pong, hot tub, fishing and more. Great family memories made at On Lake Time!!!

This house was exactly as advertised. Beautiful piece of property with too many amenities to count. This was the perfect escape for a group of friends to get away. Plenty of places to sleep. We really enjoyed spending time at the dock bar down on the water. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect lake house

If everyone wants their own private bathroom, this is a great pick. High-end furnishings, open kitchen and four different full size dining tables in various area give you lots of options. We brought games, but they also had a nice ping pong table and pool table. (Don’t bring games the require a flat lawn, the whole property is on a hill.) One of our cars is electric, and they had an charger for it. The kayaks were fancy Hobies. There was room at the dock for us to keep a boat we rented from a nearby marina and the fishing and swimming was good. Groceries and beer are a pretty decent drive, so bring lots. There are enough fridges to hold everything, plus there’s an ice machine.

Wonderful getaway from real life.

Truly a great getaway. Gated community which was nice. House layout perfect for family with teenagers, they loved the lower level. Boat house is nice with inflatables. The lake was so relaxing. There are alot of steps which I wasnt expecting but not steep ones so it worked. Overall loved our stay and wish it didnt go by so quick.
