“We asked for a ground floor room, were told we would be given one, and were put in a second floor room. The external stairs to the room were steep and not at all recommended for anyone suffering from knee issues. The room itself was fine, although there was no iron (which I only mention because I would've liked to use it, not a huge deal!). Microwave and fridge and crockery and utensils were great. “It was close to everything, next to the river, around the corner from the pub, cafe, and general store. It was a beautiful time of the year with the autumn colours. The cottage was very clean and tidy. We loved our stay and would recommend it. ”
