Sonia and Steve are the best hosts ever! They made us feel at home and Sonia's cooking is super good. The owners on the other hand are not so gracious, we wanted to make our stay shorter since ski conditions were nit the best and Sonia talk to them but they were un flexible about the issuse abd did not let us cancelled the other days. But how Sonia and Steve treat us and pamper us, we end up having a great stay.

The view of Lake Champlain is beautiful. We really liked the breakfast to go bar. Only one complaint. There were flies buzzing around room one. The windows were closed, but we could not see where they were coming in from.

I’ve stayed at New Vita Preserve twice this fall for hiking, and both visits were wonderful! On our first trip, we explored the on-site trails, spotted a fisher cat, and even found some antlers—such a cool experience! We also enjoyed the restaurant, live music in the bar, and playing pool all night. On our most recent visit, we had bigger hiking plans, so we mainly needed a clean, comfortable room to rest our heads, and it was perfect. I also accidentally double-booked our stay, and the manager was incredibly helpful, polite, and accommodating in resolving the issue. We’ve had great experiences both times and will definitely be back again soon!
