Great location- easy walk to the riverfront restaurants. Property was clean, and host Jessica was extremely friendly and responsive to questions by text/calling. Due to chilly weather the pool & spa were cold & understandably hadn’t been cleaned- but looked very inviting for warm weather fun if you’re coming closer to summer. Only notable issue we experienced was with upstairs HVAC- the outside unit was making loud banging noise that woke me up when it kicked on at night. Jessica quickly provided guidance to shut it off and I’m sure will be repaired for the next guest. Overall we enjoyed our stay and plan to return in the future. Thank you, Jessica!

The Place is BEAUTIFUL. The owner was very easy to reach and communicate with. The pool was full of leaves and wasn't swimmable with the hot days, but otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

Coquille cottage

It was a bit like staying in a movie set. The house snd setting were charming. The furnishings were lovely. But scratching the surface, one found that performance did not measure up to the appearance. My top incentive for renting this property at a higher price than I have ever paid. was that it advertised a heated pool. This was to be a spring vacation temperatures nearing 80 so I heated pool was sure to be a primary attraction. It was ice cold. Though they had the hot tub fixed by the second day of our three day stay, it would’ve been most welcome the first night and it also was ice cold. There were numerous electric outlets on the property that did not work so devices we thought were charging were not. There was no sink in the second downstairs bathroom, forcing one to wash hands in the kitchen. The freezer at his coldest setting let the ice cream turn into a soupy mess. Likewise, refrigerator did not keep the drinks to the expected cold temperatures. Not a dealbreaker, but the remote for the upstairs TV lacked batteries. Also not a dealbreaker but unpleasant, the throws on the beds were scratchy and bulky and unpleasant; this was also true of the bedding itself, heavy and unpleasant to the touch. As I said earlier, I splurged on this place to make a special memory; we enjoyed one another’s company, but these things were aggravating, and I would like at least one night refunded.

Stunning home with tons of character.

Not only was the property beautifully crafted, but incredibly comfortable. Our family enjoyed being all together for the weekend for my daughter’s wedding. I would love the opportunity to stay again during a not so busy time to take advantage of the relaxing home.

Perfection!

Unfortunately, we had to come to the area suddenly for a death in the family during the height of Mardi Gras, so there was little to no availability and we wanted to be together as a family. We were so fortunate that this property was available for the days we needed, and made our journey so much more comfortable and enjoyable than if we'd had to stay in separate hotels. The property managers were quick to respond, and the property itself is perfectly appointed, extremely comfortable, in the BEST location, extremely clean and comfortable. It's such a nice walkable area, but you could literally just stay at this property and relax and need nothing else! We just got home and are already back online looking for availability for a return trip for our family to be together in such a fantastic space.

Perfect in Madisonville

We absolutely loved this property! Everything is exactly as described and was perfect for our stay. It is walking distance to Tchefuncte's /Anchor Restaurant, Abita Roasting Co. and the river front. It's very convenient if you are boating on the River. Also, the pool was really nice to have. We were hosting extended family and friends in Madisonville and will definitely rent Coquille Cottage again.

Travel Girls Short Getaway

This is an amazing property. The house is beautifully decorated and spacious. The outdoor pool area is a mini paradise. There are restaurants close by; in fact, there is one located directly behind the property that you can access by the back gate. The house was well stocked with towels, paper, shampoo, and soap. We had a great time, and will definitely look to rent this property when we visit the area again.

Sweet Cottage!

We really enjoyed our stay at this precious cottage and property! We had a few of our friends stay with us for Easter weekend, and everything was perfect! It was very convenient to our boat and great restaurants nearby! The PM, Karen was so nice and the host was great to deal with. We enjoyed learning about the history of the cottage and also the thoughtful touches for the guests! We look forward to staying here again! Thanks for letting us stay at your little Madisonville gem! :)

Lovely home in Madisonville

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home (6 adults, 1 toddler). Check in and check out were seamless, and Jessica was a great communicator. The backyard is absolutely gorgeous and a great place to sit in the morning. The backyard connects to Abita Roasting Co, which was great for breakfast every morning. We brought a baby gate to lean against the spiral staircase, but otherwise felt the home was very kid friendly. Highly recommend staying here!
