I knew it wasn't going to be 5 star by the price but this is one step up from sleeping in the street.. every surface is dirty, every fixture and fitting either worn-out or broken. Staff couldn't even be bothered to say helo as too busy with their phones. De-luxe..they are having a laugh, didn't even get balcony

The rooms, especially bathrooms, were not very clean but the price is low. Still a good cleaning would make the guest experience much more pleasant. I found the reception staff helpful and the guest house is located near the River and restaurants and pubs. The property’s access to the walking path along the river is not cleared of debris but I did enjoy morning walks along the river.

We booked 4 rooms on the main floor. In one of the rooms, it smells so bad like the washroom drainage hole is broken. And the other room, the sink and shower drains are not working properly. This property needs complete renovation.

For the price… it was a good option in This sleepy little town. It is obvious that the family is trying hard to run a good hotel but it definitely needs a little tlc but undoubtedly hampered by economics and lack of capital. The woodwork is very reflective of the cultures in the area. Again, the price was ridiculously low and for that it represents great value even with the shortcomings. The modest toast and coffee available in the morning was appreciated.

Verwezen naar het naastgelegen Riverview Hotel

Bij aankomst bleek het hotel vol en zijn we ondergebracht in het naastgelegen Riverview Hotel. Op zich werd dit allemaal netjes en vriendelijk geregeld. De andere kamer was helaas een stuk minder dan de afbeeldingen van de geboekte kamer.

Absolutely lovely stay the balcony in our room was on the River Yuam. Great room cool air con and toiletries. Free simple breakfast and great staff who was happy to help anytime via google translate . The best balue for money

I really like the view, it is really ‚a good view‘. I also like to have some bread, coffee and tea very early in the morning for free. Early in the morning you should go before 6 to the morning market rather close by. Cleanliness is so, so, depending which room you get. Staff seems always very tired since it seems they habe to work or at least be oresent 24 h a day

Never again

This property definitely needs more car parking spaces, good thing we were on motorcycles. Very dated, Musty, the family who run it could be a little happier. Very disappointed, will never stay again.

Sad to say, this is the worst property I have,stayed in for many years. At check in the reception person was on his mobile the whole time and just put keys on the counter and led us down steps to the rooms and left us there, still on his phone. I booked two rooms, in my room the,shower and TV did not work at all. In the other room the shower did not work and basin leaked badly as ro be unuseable. Breakfast was instant coffee with powdered milk, and white bread with jam and "butter" in a tub, the brand that does not require refrigeration. All in all an inhospitable experience rating 2/10 and worth maybe 300 baht at best.

Nice view over the river

been staying here for many years whilst passing through on motorbike tours. The rooms are very basic and breakfast is just toast, Nescafé & some fruit. Be warned - the council is constructing a promenade between the river & the guest houses. It will take about a year to complete and may make it very noisy & dusty whilst the work continues

So many bugs I had to sleep in the car one night. Friend I was with stayed in the room and woke up with 11 bites on her face

Don't expect them to deliver what you booked

I was shown to a building around the back of another building on the opposite side of the road to The Good View Guesthouse. The private balcony didn't exist, actually there was no balcony. The Flat screen TV with satellite channels didn't exist, well the satellite channels may have been there but there wasn't a TV, nor was there a mirror in the room or in the bathroom, which consisted of a cordoned off corner of the room in which the top part was open into the room. Which incidentally didn't have the bathrobes and slippers. There was 2 bottles of water in the room however the refrigerator wasn't there I'm not sure if I'm entitled to complain about the lack of a mirror in the room, as they didn’t list the Deluxe room as having a mirror, perhaps my expectations of a mirror were too high. Also when the guest in the adjacent room speaks on his phone you get to hear the conversation clearly. After a bit of thinking about it, I figured this was the type of room that my driver used to have to go and find for himself whilst I stayed somewhere nice. What I received confirmation of my having booked Deluxe Double Room Free parking FREE PARKING Free WiFi FREE WIFI 1 Double Bed Features a private balcony Internet - Free WiFi Entertainment - Flat-screen TV with satellite channels Food & Drink - Refrigerator and free bottled water Bathroom - Private bathroom, shower, bathrobes, and slippers Comfort - Air conditioning and daily housekeeping Non-Smoking
