“A cute small hotel located right off the main road. It’s convenient to everything in Maggie Valley. It’s just what we needed for our two night stay. Very clean. Mostly quiet. The river behind is loud but once the door/window is closed you can barely hear it. I would definitely recommend staying here and might even book a stay there again myself on a future trip.”

“Host greeted us when we arrived - very nice welcome! Gave us quick tour of basement apartment. Lots of room and huge bedrooms. Bedrooms are on opposite ends so have more privacy. Little things and conveniences included that made stay nice. Host was responsive and helpful. Location/area was great. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“We loved the awesome art and artifacts, books and decor. The place was clean and had a nice variety of organic tea in which i love. It was a little hot but the host remotely adjusted the temperature quickly for us. King sized bed was great. Washer and dryer was helpful. GPS kept messing with us (not the hosts fault) , so we drove in a circle for what felt like 25 minutes. We plan on coming back to stay again when we can stay longer. :) ”

“10/10. It was a short stay, but a wonderful stay. A perfect little retreat. Debi's property is beautiful. Even in winter. It was my mom and I and 4 pups! Thank you for allowing us to bring all 4. Debi had fresh OJ, lemon water, eggs, milk and coffee in the fridge and snacks for the dogs! Just a beautiful, peaceful place. “I stayed at the Blue Door Home Base apartment for a month to attend a summer class at local WCU. The apartment was wonderful in every way. Great location, super clean & comfy. The property owner is extremely helpful and responsive & he's thought of everything you could possibly need. It's a great rental & I really enjoyed my stay!”
