We had a great stay! The road you take for the last mile is very bumpy just be cautious with smaller cars. However, the house is so cozy and quiet and the view is incredible. Would definitely come back in the future.

The house was great! It’s a difficult drive during the last couple of miles given the road conditions. Overall though, I would stay in this home again.

The property owners were very nice and helpfull and the house was just as they stated. We enjoyed our stay.

We love this cabin! This was our second time to stay here. The owners are easy and responsive. Can’t wait for trip #3!

Great trip

Loved the house. Creek was super relaxing and hot tub was clean. Great views. Wi-Fi worked great had no issues due to no cell service. Great time.

Everything was Taken Care Of

A bit off the beaten path, but had everything we needed and all instructions were well communicated. The location was great for both skiing and the casino. All occupants enjoyed their stay. Thanks for letting us use your home.

10/10 would stay again!! Road is a bit rough, but worth the trek. Host is extremely responsive and helpful. Internet worked better than expected. Already booking a trip/stay for next year!

Great property but the ride up the gravel road is a bit rough and bumpy. No problems with our vehicles making it, just rough. Kids and teens enjoyed the game room and the creek. The adults enjoyed the down time, card playing and puzzling.

Peak Retreat: A Serene Mountain House Rental, Tucked Away yet Conveniently Connected.

We had an absolutely fantastic time again at this cabin! The location is perfect - nestled by a peaceful creek, providing a secluded and serene atmosphere. Despite its seclusion, its close enough to town, allowing us easy access to activities and amenities. Plus, the WiFi was reliable, ensuring we could stay connected when needed. Highly recommend this hidden gem for a peaceful and connected mountain getaway! My family always has a great time here and we will definitely be back again!

Had a great time .

We had a large group from age 4 to 55 the game room ,ping pong table, creek and hot tub were a big hit with all. The sound of the creek was very relaxing while outside the cabin.

Beautiful, remote property and clean accommodations

Our family thoroughly enjoyed exploring the creeks, taking hikes, relaxing on the deck and in the hot tub, and playing ping pong in the game room. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. Holly was quick to respond to questions that we had.

Amazing

The cabin was amazing. We had a family of 13, there was plenty of room. The only down side was phone service but we knew that when we rented. We had good family time.

Happy campers!

This was a wonderful experience! The cabin was cozy and clean. It perfectly fit our large family. We loved the property, the creek was so fun to play around and explore with kids. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. Maggie Valley was a great location, good food, good fun, good hikes.

Perfect

This was the best place for my family of 11 that included 5 grands. Perfect amount of space for 3 families and so much fun for us all at the creek. Kids had a blast in creek and some big kids too. Would definitely recommend families that like the outdoors and needs space with multiple families.

Fire pit close to the creek. Near Blue Ridge Park Way that leads to Smokey Mountain NP, or Asheville the other way. The Hill Billy Festival in Maggie Valley was cool and I was able to help out the Cherokee Nation at their casino.

Great house. The reason I gave it four stars is the internet. There is no cellphone signal and Wi-Fi was hit or miss. Overall it was a great house.

Great Vacation Place!

Awesome cabin! The first morning the coffee makers didn’t work, and we notified the owner. We were called shortly after, and after venturing out to Soco Falls, we came back to a fancy coffee maker with plenty of coffee. All nine of us enjoyed our stay. We especially enjoyed the creek in the back. The road getting in was a little sketchy, but we managed.

Mountain vacation

House needs care. Basement extremely smelly. Ran the dehumidifier, but no real help. No cleaning had been done on porches or deck. Blackstone was unusable. It was rusted and had standing water. Grill was nasty as well.

Christmas dream come true

Perfect getaway for Christmas. Property was beautiful. Plenty of room for a large group. Hard to get ahold of owner bc there’s no service on that mountain and Wi-Fi is too slow to make calls. No complaints. Be aware this is not accessible when the roads ice over! Only with 4x4 and chains. Property is 20 degrees colder than in town.
