We couldn’t light the grill, and someone was over within 5 minutes to assist. I’d love to go back. So relaxing.”

Unfortunately the listing doesn’t let you know that it is directly next to Banana Beach (it shares a wall with the bar) so it is very loud with music/a dj on in the day and night. “Skip. The host listed the property as a 2 minute walk to the beach and it was a 10-12 min 4x4 drive challenge. Since we planned to be able to walk we checked out and asked for a refund. He has not done so to make the situation right. Santa Teresa has been taken over by tourists and developers and not your typical Costa Rica pura vida experience. Note that "sleeps 8" means three bedrooms each with double beds and two with single futons. cleaning and concierge services are excellent. Note that there is a full kitchen but no on-site laundry.
