I have stayed in over a hundred hotels throughout Asia, NA and Europe and this is the worst. The room was FILTHY. Floor had not been cleaned or vacuumed for AT LEAST several nights of stays before me, obvious pieces of random stuff like fingernails everywhere on the floor. Both shower drain and sink drain fully clogged. Mold. Bathroom floors nasty.
Reception is strangely in the 3rd floor, there is minimal signage to tell you that. There is a keycard reader to use the elevator, am I supposed to guess that I don't need to use it to get to floor 3 since I don't have a card yet? The elevator is old and the button has to be pressed hard to work, so I wrongly assumed I needed a keycard after it didn't work. Lobby was full of loads of Chinese people, so check in took forever. They charged an extra tax. I didn't feel like checking if it's legitimate after the long wait, but Expedia had already charged me a lot of tax. This hotel was not cheap at all for a mediocre area in Southeast Asia even if it was clean, for what it is at the price I paid this was a nightmare.
