Not ideal but made the best of the stay
We were called to make payment even though we had already paid on Vrbo. But, didn’t put much concern that Casey had confused us. It happens.We were excited to arrive but were alarmed by the neighborhood preceeding these cottages. Stark contrast to the pics online and it was just surprising.But again, we were happy to arrive. We didn’t realize the cottages were so close together which provided less privacy. We looked forward to using the hot tub not realizing it was the Owner’s hot tub in their back yard! Plus you’d have to walk down the street. Just awkward and not what you imagine when you see the pics online.Bed is nice with auto settings.Bathroom is nice.Kitchenette is nice but their were cobwebs and a spider that had commandeered the coffee maker. lol But we made a truce and let us use the coffeemaker.View is nice but your adjacent to other people with very little privacy. By 8 pm we realized the back sliding door would not lock and was broken. I went to the check in QR code and we reached out to Casey for help. We did not hear back from anyone until 6pm the following day.We makeshifted a way to lock the door while we slept and when we left to go enjoy the day we tried to leave a pole from our car in the track to protect our personal property in the cottage. So I had to reach out for hours on their different social media’s to try and reach their office. This really disappointed us and detracted from our vacation day.Casey did refund us for 1 night. Thank you
