  • This woodland dream boasts 2 inviting bedrooms, featuring a king bed and a queen bed for a restful night. Guests find 2 bathrooms equipped with soaking tub and showers, adding a touch of comfort to your stay. You have the option to barbecue and dine under the canopy of the trees on the porch or in the fully equipped kitchen/ dining area. The home is only a short drive to some local pubs and eateries. Our home is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Whether you’re unwinding or getting ready for an adventure, this home is a cozy retreat on the Trout River. Malone and surrounding areas offer many adventures. Hiking Owls Head, golfing Malone Golf Course, mountain biking, fishing, ATV recreation, snowmobile the trails or ski Titus Mountain. The Trestle House is an exceptional property. It far exceeded our expectations. Given it is a new build, we were delighted with the craftsmanship and spaciousness. Norma and Larry were terrific hosts. We would highly recommend.

It’s bigger than the pictures do it justice. The owner seem to really care about making it a comfortable, positive experience.

The Trestle House is amazing! We highly recommend it. It is immaculate, in a perfect location and Norma has spared no expense with all the small details. It is much larger than the pictures show and so much more beautiful. Percent for families or a group of friends. We cannot wait to return! So peaceful and tranquil- we didn’t want to leave! Thank you Norma and Larry.

We had an amazing stay at the Tressel House on Trout River! Norma was an excellent host from start to finish. She answered all of our questions quickly before arrival, gave detailed directions with a map pin, and made everything stress-free. She respected our privacy while still checking in to make sure we had everything we needed.The house was spotless, cozy, and fully stocked with everything you could think of — dishes, cookware, cleaning supplies, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and even travel-size toiletries if you forgot something. The king bed in the master suite was extremely comfortable, and both bedrooms had TVs with streaming apps available.One of our favorite parts was sitting on the back deck listening to the peaceful sound of the Trout River flowing by. The property is very private with no neighboring houses nearby, making it the perfect relaxing getaway.The homemade chocolate chip cookies waiting for us when we arrived were such a thoughtful touch and absolutely delicious!We would absolutely stay here again and have already recommended it to others. Highly recommend the Tressel House if you’re looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway!
