“Palazzo Písaní is a nice little place, full of character and charm. Alexis, the owner is a very charming host. Breakfast in the courtyard amongst the lemon trees is wonderful start into the day. Fellow travellers, be aware however that this is not a five-star hotel. The boutique 'feel' didn't extend to the room. Our Deluxe room was quite small (though probably as advertised), and overal quite uncomfortable - there was minimum of storage space to unpack and the bed was hard and not comfy at all....

“Great space to stay at and room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast served on time every morning in the room and was delicious, great options available to suit everyone. Staff were great and full of information and very helpful when you needed anything. Pool outside was good to have as well, cool you down after a day of exploring in the Malta heat. I rented a car and was able to park fairly close by each night.”

“Espacio muy acogedor y relajado. Buen servicio y desayuno completo.”

“To begin with, I arrived at the place; the door was closed, and I did not have the combination code for the building and do. ot the assigned room, never contacted by anyone. I was strolling in the street until a good Maltese Samaritan helped me contact the management using his phone; by the time I went to my room was 11:30 PM. The room service comes every day; they never changed the sheets or replaced the towels.”

“This is good ”

“Two day business trip in Valletta - didn't want a posh hotel far away and this lucky find was just right. Spotlessly clean, They arranged for me to be to be picked up at Luqa airport and that worked well, the breakfast was perfect (different every day), the staff - Shawn & Petrie - were kind and helpful. The rooms are small but air conditioned and comfortable and they have a rooftop bar. where you can chill. I used Bolt (like uber) to get to my meetings and they were always on time. In short,...

“My wife and I (seniors) spent four nights at the Sunset in May and really enjoyed the place. First, the location is great. It's on a main bus route and easy to get to the harbor ferries and buses. Second, it's a nice quiet neighborhood. Third, it's within walking distance of some lovely neighborhood restaurants. Fourth, James, the manager wows everyone with the homemade breakfasts! He's also eager to help answer questions and assist travelers. We would definitely return to the Sunset...
