Casa frente al lago cerca de Mammoth Cave

Esta casa es perfecta para su reunión familiar. Situado en el lago Nolin en Brier Creek, justo al lado del canal principal del lago. Tendrás tu propio muelle privado con escalera. Natación, paseos en bote, pesca, paddle, piragüismo y kayak son actividades perfectas aquí. El Parque Nacional Mammoth Cave está a unos 30 minutos y hay campos de golf, paseos a caballo, tiendas Amish y la playa / parque de parques estatales están a pocos minutos de esta casa. El vecindario tiene una rampa para botes privados y nuestro bote está disponible para su uso si se ha acordado previamente.

House was cozy and had everything we needed! The lake was beautiful even in the winter. The kids enjoyed the blocks and puzzle and the closeness to Mammoth Cave National Park was perfect. Highly recommend.

This house was nice. Plenty of space for our family gathering. And the beds were comfy. We enjoyed the deck space & outdoor firepit. The owners were very responsive and added a nice touch with a Christmas tree in the living room. Only downside was that The neighborhood was a bit odd.

Our stay at this beautiful lakeside cabin was wonderful! The views were absolutely stunning, and the location—tucked away on a quiet street—made it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The home offered plenty of space for our group to spread out comfortably, and we really enjoyed the café just at the edge of the neighborhood - convenient and great food! A few small suggestions that would make an already great stay even better: adding a TV on the main level (a swivel-mounted one where the clock is above the kitchen table would work perfectly), including a few dish towels in the kitchen (if they were there, I didn't find the), checking the light in the left-side main-level bedroom (it flickers), and replacing the bulb at the rear entry on the deck. None of these detracted from our experience—it was a beautiful and peaceful getaway, and we would definitely return! Check-in was easy and descriptions accurate. For those not familiar with the area, it is a dry county so come prepared if you plan on a drink with dinner.

This was great place with a beautiful view of the lake! We got lucky with really nice October weather to use the lake but we were only able to use 2 of the kayaks due to only 2 paddles available and 2 of the kayaks had holes in them. It was a little more off the beaten path then we expected but no the less we really enjoyed it!

Lovely spacious home with gorgeous lake view

Needs a good deep cleaning, lots of sticky surfaces, dirty oven, crumbs in the pantry and cabinets.We had a problem getting access to the lake because of a downed tree and a gap between the stairs and the dock. The owner responded that this is normal. We would have enjoyed swimming from the dock but couldn’t reach it from shore.

Cave tours and lake fun!

Nice house on the lake, 30-45 minutes from Mammoth cave visitors center(depends on who's driving). Lake is great for fishing, tubing etc. We had 6 adults 5 kids in our party plenty of room to spread out or gather at this property.

Kids rate it AWESOME!

The property was as described and perfect for our stay. We were there for Spring Break and unfortunately experienced the historic flooding. But the house was a great base for nearby sightseeing and relaxing.

Great stay

We had a great extended family weekend - everything was as expected. Plenty of space indoors and outdoors to relax together. The dock was not accessible due to the high water level (we knew that the water level would be unknown until we got there), everything else was wonderful!

Lovely and well-equipped with a great view!

Beautiful view of water, wildlife, and trees. Well equipped property with everything we needed to cook and store food. Cute deco - fun, stylish lake theme. Comfy place with more than enough room to rest, play games, watch movies, and eat for our group of seven. Convenient to Mammoth Cave (visitor center was about 40 minutes away).

Bachelor Party Success

View was great, planned to do some fishing but the lakes water level was too high to get to our dock.Not the owners fault though.Scenery was beautiful, the cabin was very roomy and nicer than we expected.Had a lot of fun around the fire pit with good friends. Owner has been in contact with me since the day I reserved the stay. I definitely recommend, and we will be back!

Great family getaway

My family had a great time here. We have 4 adults and 4 kids and didn't feel on top of each other. My 4 year old asked if we can come back the next year. pros- very open living area upstairs- very cosy living area downstairs- great views everywhere- big and well furnished deck. - kids loved the kayaks- kitchen was a good size and well stocked- hosts were easy going and communicated well. - loft bedroom was more helpful than we thought it would be. - furniture was newer and in great condition.- yard had a nice flat area compared to most river/lake houses- no fees for my doggie- very cleanCons:- mattresses were cheap and not comfortablenotes:- 45 minutes to Mammoth Cave visiter center- Dock access was blocked by flooding, but not hosts fault and it was spring so we didn't need it. - Some reviews said that it didn't have a firepit. It has a firepit but its rudimentary, but it didn't bother us. We had fires 2 nights.- dock was pretty small. We were not there to swim, but if we were. It would have been a problem.
