Perfect spot for a ski weekend!

8 of us stayed here for a ski weekend with our two pups and it was a perfect! The location was great - close to the gondola and to the restaurants/ bars. The place itself was great! Cozy and spacious. It does however get toasty in the house- a bit of a balancing act but we loved the place nonetheless and will def be back.

Perfect location as it is close to everything in town. Comfortable home and roomy. Had some minor issues but overall a great stay.

The hot tub was low on water but the management team addressed it within a day! The kitchen had plenty of supplies to cook big meals.

Good not great

The hot tub was very dirty making it unusable. This was disappointing as it was one of the main things I looked for in a rental. The hot tub is also directly outside one of the bedrooms and the motor ran all night which was disruptive for those sleeping in that room. The primary bedroom was also very loud and bright. I have stayed in this complex previously and I think this particular unit gets far more street noise than other units. Other than the hot tub the rest of the house was very clean. The ice machine does not work. Management offered to send maintenance but we opted to buy ice rather than have someone come over. The location is also very walkable which we enjoyed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a big group staying at this property for the weekend. Very accessible to everything. Large space with big kitchen table and big kitchen - perfect for large groups. Private hot-tub was a nice added amenity. Parking is the only downside - 2 designated spots and a few guest spots in the facility that you may have to shovel out to park any extra cars. Property itself was well-maintained and had the perfect cabin vibe!!

Mammoth Condo

Condo was comfortable but master bedroom has a non draped window so it is an early wake-up. Internet did not work for the entire stay. Condo is also next to Main road going to Mammoth Mountain so not ideal for noise sensitive people. 2 car garage parking only, do not reccomend large vehicles like a suburban.

Great location, faulty laundry and oven

The location was perfect. Close to the village and the buses. But the property itself was a bit disappointing. The washing machine didn't work so we had laundry we were unable to do. And the oven also didn't turn on so we were unable to cook. We only realized this after spending money on groceries and having them go to waste. The hot tub was filthy but functional at least. It just felt like the high price was due to the location and the space itself wasn't being properly cared for. Disappointing since the location is great and we'd otherwise have wanted to return there.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We paid a premium for the 3 days and the jacuzzi was filthy. I called and talked to management 3 times and no one came to clean it. The jacuzzi was the entire reason we agreed to pay so much . The garage was tall enough for our truck but not long enough so we had to park it outside. There was a huge dumpster taking up a lot of space in front of the garage. Since there were only 4 of us it seemed like plenty of room. Very quite complex. I think it was only us and maybe another group. I would recommend this property if the jacuzzi was clean and they lower the cost.

Our stay at Mammoth Gateway Village #7

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was decent but a little small for 7 people. Need to fix the master shower head. The deciding factor was....... P A R K I N G. Simply a deal breaker for sure. The garage was not even long enough to accommodate a Toyota Long bed truck :( That alone is not acceptable and never mentioned in the description. During the summer I suppose one could park in the alleyway parallel with the garage as we had 3 cars. But that means moving your car every single time someone leaves the garage. During the winter NOT a chance. Just too compact and absolutely no ROOM for any 3rd car let alone fitting a long bed truck in the existing garage. That means paying xtra $$ every single day and parking in that lot across from the village where half the kiosks don't seem to work for payment. Sorry.......but not visiting again here.

Convenient location, deceiving photos

We were a group of friends (4 couples and a single) and dogs. The property is dog friendly, close to the shuttle stop for free transportation to the mountain, and relatively modern. The photos on the website are deceiving, most notably the double bed is not a bedroom. It is a loft with no door, closet, nor privacy - you can hear the living room and common spaces because of the open wall. We had some minor issues with our stay (water filter broken, jacuzzi was luke warm and had a musty smell). The management office did offer to fix the water filter, but this should have been done before arrival in order to not interrupt our stay. If you plan to cook, bring your own cooking oil, salt, and an extra roll of paper towels as the unit did not come with these items. Overall, it’s expensive for the bedrooms which are really like 2 private bedrooms, a bunk bed room, and an open loft with a bed stuck in it, deceiving, and everything is managed by Mammoth Reservations even though you pay an extra fee to use VRBO for booking. Mammoth Reservations even sends you a second set of paperwork to fill out. Check in and check out were seamless - pick up and drop off keys at the main office a few minutes away. The unit only has 2 parking spots which is near impossible if you have 9 people staying and have gear. There is no ski/snowboard closet either to store gear or boots. The decor is nice and the location worked well for people to go and come at their own pace. However, for the cost of the property - it was not great.

Perfect place for a ski getaway for 2 families

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was spacious for two families. Easy check in and was very clean. Kitchen had modern appliances and a gas stove and was well stocked. We cooked there every night. Nice to have the third bathroom. The main floor with the kitchen and great room was large enough to accommodate both families for eating, watching tv and playing games. Note that garage holds two cars but no parking outside for additional cars. Highly recommended!

Roomy, clean condo

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. There were 2 adults and 5 kids and we had plenty of room. We liked that the primary bedroom is in a section of the house on its own for tons of privacy. There is plenty of room in the entry to stop and take off your snow gear set them down so the rest of the condo remains clear. Overall the place was really clean. We would definitely stay here again.
