  • This charming 1-bedroom + open loft, 2-bath condo is a perfect choice for your Mammoth Lakes getaway. Nestled among the trees in the quiet Bigwood community on Sierra Star Golf Course, you’ll be just steps from the fairways and approximately one mile from both Eagle Lodge, Canyon Lodge and The Village. After a day on the slopes, trails, or golf course, cozy up beside the wood-burning fireplace or step outside onto the private deck, fire up the BBQ, and enjoy the fresh mountain air and peaceful forest surroundings. Inside, the condo offers a comfortable and inviting layout with everything you need to feel at home. The fully renovated kitchen is well stocked for preparing meals, while the living room features a flatscreen TV, DVD player, free Wi-Fi, and a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping accommodations. The main-level bedroom features a queen bed, flatscreen TV, and convenient access to the hallway bathroom. Upstairs, the open loft provides a second queen bed and its own en-suite full bathroom, creating additional space and privacy for families or small groups. A private washer and dryer are also located in the loft for added convenience. Guests have access to shared garage parking for one vehicle (garage clearance 7'3"), along with an additional parking pass. The Bigwood community features a year-round hot tub and on-site laundry facilities, plus an outdoor swimming pool during the summer months. The town trolley is nearby, or take advantage of the convenient location and head approximately one mile to the lifts at Eagle Lodge. Guests additionally receive complimentary access to Snowcreek Athletic Club. Mammoth's premier fitness and recreation facility featuring an indoor heated swimming pool, steam room, sauna, full fitness center, yoga, Pilates and cycling studios, racquetball and basketball courts, plus outdoor tennis, pickleball outdoor swimming pool during the summer months. Located on the second floor, this condo accommodates up to 6 guests. Non-smoking, and pets are not permitted. Two parking passes are provided. A very cozy stay, lots of room and clean. Comfy beds, lots of blankets and linens. Well stocked kitchen with cooking essentials too. We loved this condo :-)

We loved the cabin so much! The location was great and getting in and out of the cabin was so easy compared to a lot of places we’ve stayed at in Mammoth. The cabin was very cozy and nicely remodeled. All of the rooms were very cleanly as well. We had an issue with the WiFi the first night, reached out to the host and they had the internet fixed the very next morning! The location was amazing because it was very close to Canyon and Eagle lodge and very close to shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean condo. Check In/Check out at property management was easy.Garage stall was very narrow. So we did need 1 person outside to guide in and out for our mid-sized SUV Honda Pilot.Price for rental was good for what you get to rent the property.

New Years in Mammoth

This place was awesome! Plenty of room for the kids to hang. Open floor plan with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We’re ready to come back!

The place is nice and cozy. Beautiful kitchen. The host team responses quickly. The issues that we had were the temperature of the heaters. We kept it at 75 degrees but the house is either too hot or too cold. The parking space was very tid, we were driving a toyota sienna. Barely have enough space to park.

Very happy with the place. Modernized and clean. Space is good for 3-4 people. Only improvements needed would be maybe another sofa in living room and smart tv in bedrooms

Great Stay in Mammoth

4 of us stayed at the condo for three nights. It is in a great location, a 10 minute walk from Mammoth Brewing and other restaurants. The condo was very clean, comfortable and the owners supply everything needed to cook in the kitchen as well as a nice supply of toiletries. We will definitely look to stay here again.

Ski Trip

Property worked for what we needed. Its a little older and "worn" but served its purpose for what we were looking for. Was very clean and had the basics that were needed for the stay. Very convenient to the slopes.

Snow Trip

Overall the place is a good spot. Very close to everything you need for ski trip. The kitchen has been updated and looks great. The beds and baths are older but still work fine. Check in was a little confusing due to having to make reservations through VRBO and then having to sign a contract with the property management company. The only other issue I had was when we arrived there was a weed pen on the fireplace and was missed on the cleaning.

Got the job done.

The location was perfect to Eagle Lodge. The beds were slightly dirty especially the pull out couch. There was trash in the upstairs balcony bedroom. No fire wood. The bathrooms, both sink and showers leak so the floors where sopping wet. Not sure I would stay here again.

Worst communication with the manager

I needed help ever since we got there but it was impossible to speak to the manager or host. Fortunately we found the key under the mat, otherwise we’d have had to book a hotel, since we weren’t able to make contact w the property manager or host whatsoever.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property had a TV in the bedroom that did not work. We could have managed except for that the couch and the hard wood chairs in the main TV area were very uncomfortable. We had three people and it was difficult to relax. I would not stay here again.

nice location, indoor practical without frills

checkin / checkout was very convenient. the location of the unit is close to a bus stop and in a nice area. the unit itself is clean but without frills, we call it practical. We are happy with our stay but would suggest that the property manager fixes some of the minor issues we noticed. Pros: - great location - unit is very quiet - good for 3 peoples - nice wood fire stove, easy to start, control and clean - all appliances worked perfectly - good wifi and TV (netflix, amazon, HBO) Cons (minor) - some electrical outlets have unsecured face plate, this could be a problem with smaller children - the curtain for the upstairs showers should be replaced with some "hermetic" inclosure - we had a problem with one of the kitchen cabinet - need more towels (even so we had a dryer, we ran out) - garage is really tight for a larger SUV

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The main room in the photos is really nice. But there are lots of things broken we had to email our host every time we found something so we wouldn’t be charged for it. Busted window in the living room, ripped lampshade in the bedroom. We couldn’t use the second floor bathroom- it was leaking and the floor was flooded. The bathrooms are from 1960 and look pretty awful. They need new beds. Super uncomfortable and everything is old. They didn’t have matches for the fireplace/stove and no directions for finding the hot tub. Would not stay here again. It could be so cute if only they would care for it.

Not what we hoped it would be

The location was wonderful. We were visiting with another couple and the location was great as it was a 3 minute drive to lifts/lodge. Our issue was that first of all the decomposing mouse on a sticky trap that we found under the downstairs bed. We do understand that this can be an issue in a forested area. That was not the issue but, it should have been checked and disposed of BEFORE we checked in. It was NOT freshly trapped. its claim was a “remodeled” unit. A more accurate description would be, updated kitchen. All other parts of the unit were a bit outdated. The other issue we had was that this is Not a 2 bedroom. This is a 1 private bedroom downstairs and a loft upstairs without a door. Not private for the other couple upstairs as there is NO door and all conversations between upstairs and downstairs were easily overheard. Along with a very creaky upstairs floor that would wake us up in the downstairs room every time someone would get up to use the restroom or even turn over in bed. The upstairs shower needs to be redone as it leaks heavily onto floor and floods the area. When I tried to address all my concerns, management refunded my cleaning fee and brushed off all other concerns, not even returning my requests for management to discuss.
